Whatever happened to me this time?
Atlantica Did.
I restarted the game and have since become thoroughly addicted to it....
I'll admit that this addiction probably won't last long after the free hero package wears off but, It's a good time waster until then.
The down side to this gaming addiction? My Anime viewing has become non existent....
With the exception of Madoka most of my series have finally come to an end, I'll find some time to Marathon thru the remaining episodes and hopefully post here for my own entertainments.
Final 2 Episodes of Madoka Please.

Strike Witches
Where to start.....
I was bored one night and decided to look into what free stuff my On Demand had to offer, The Funimation Channel complimentary Episodes 1 and 2 of Strike Witches.
Eh... Might as well.
First thing I noticed? None of the females seem to wear pants. Undies Everywhere. This was a little discouraging at first but it seemed to have a plot.
Alternate Earth has been attacked by UFOs called Neuroi.
The only people with the power to fight these Neuroi are young female "Witches", With the aid of Striker Units they fly around pantless, use magic and guns to destroy the Enemy.
Well, Maybe that's a bad description but... it gets the point across. There are A LOT of characters in these 12 episodes, Most of them quite likable.
The Mains...
Mio Sakamoto; 19/20 Years Old, The most mature Witch in the 501st. She knew Dr. Miyafuji and was the first witch to use a Striker Unit. Sub Commander of the 501st, She trains the others in the squadron and seems to have a soft spot for Yoshika.
Yoshika Miyafuji; 14/15 Years Old. Her father Dr. Miyafuji designed the Striker Units before he died in the war... Having received a very late mail from him she is recruited by Sakamoto... At first she was dead set against violence but that changed {rather quickly} after an attack by the Neuroi.
She joins the 501st and quite excels as a Strike Witch.
Brief Summary...
The 501st fight the Neuroi. Well, Maybe there's more to it. The episodes are a nice of mix of silly, character building and battles. Episode 7 is a bit.... unusual. There's a Panty Thief on base, One girl {Hartmann} misplaces her panties and "borrows" another girls who then takes someone elses.... It makes for some awkward and strangely amusing situations.
Things get rolling in Episode 9 when Yoshika out "dueling" Perrine goes ahead of the other Witches on a Neuroi call, This Neuroi however is different. It's shaped itself as a human and plays childishly with Yoshika.. Until the others get there. Sakamoto not realizing what was really going on attacks the Neuroi who then shoots thru her shields and escapes when the girls go to catch her.
A Friendly Neuroi? Everyone trys to convince Yoshika that it was just trying to trick her but... she can't believe it. Even after being put on a 10 day confinement she sneaks off base and goes to find the Humanoid Neuroi.
This doesn't go unnoticed, Minna is given orders by the higher ups to shoot Yoshika down. Of course the Witches couldn't just shoot her, going out looking for Yoshika they finally find her...and the Humannoid Neuroi. It's being friendly once again so they just stay back and watch... as it leads Yoshika into the Neuroi Hive.
Inside the Hive the Neuroi shows Yoshika many video type screens of things that had and were happening, One shows a Core in a room with a large Mech. Outside the Hive a giant Mech has shown up, The friendly Neuroi coming outside to investigate{?} is killed then the entire hive is.... Nice weapon.
Yoshika is uninjured in the incident but once all the Witches get back to base they find General Maloney there, The Military turns on the girls and due to Yoshika's actions and the Witches not following orders to shoot her down... the 501st is disbanded.
The Giant Mech is there as well, It's revealed to be "Warlock" ... Long story short. Maloney has been using a Neuroi Core to make a new weapon... Robot...Mech... to fight the Neuroi. That way they wouldn't have the need for the Witches...
As all the girls are going "home" the Warlock is sent out to fight more Neuroi, Bad stuff happens and yes.. it kills a bunch of Neuroi but the Warlock itself turns against the Humans. Warlock attacking the ship Yoshika, Perrine and Mio are on the other girls all just happen to see what's going on and rush back to base to get their striker units..
Everyone, One way or another get their Strike Units back and go out and defeat the Warlock {Which actually melds with the entire battleship during endgame.}. That Hive is Destroyed, The Country it was over is saved and all the 501st is sent off to other places.
Yoshika is sent back to her home in Fuso.
At the end it shows Yoshika healing a bird that her best friend Micchan brings to her, suddenly something falls from the sky and crashes in a nearby bush. It's a Witch! The girl is there to deliver yet another letter... from Yoshika's father.
TidBit: I forgot the most important things! When the Witches powers are activated they grow
Bunny/Kitty/Puppy ears/tails. I'm sure there's some correlation of who has what sort of ears/tail but
it wasn't really discussed.
Favorite Episode: Episode 6- It focuses on Sanya. Enough said.
Weakest Episode: Other then six, Most were hovering about the same level.
Favorite Character{s}:
Sanya; 13/14 Years Old. Black Kitty Years! She's the night witch, Doing the night watch she likes to sing when she flys about. The quiet one of the 501st, Her special powers are radar like which help her during her night missions.
Francesca; The youngest, 12 years old. She's childish and likes to skip out on training to go play around base, often seen sleeping in unusual places {trees, rafters}. Seems to like grabbing peoples breasts as well... When "active" she has Black Leopard Ears and Tail.
Least Favorite Character{s} At first it was Perrine but she has even grown on me, Her hang up on Sakamoto is still a bit annoying though....
Want More? Yes and there is.
Berry Ranking: 3 out of 5.

Mushi-Uta
Well... That was a most unsatisfying ending....
The show is a basic Good Organisation Vs Bad Organisation with a couple little twists thrown in.
The SEPB Vs The Mushibane.
Which one is the good one? It really depends on how you look at it.
You have the SEPB which is made up heavily of Hosts, going around and killing the insects of other Hosts. On the death of their insects the Hosts become zombie slaves {Fallen}.... they have no emotions, free will or memories of any kind.
However, If left be the Insects will slowly eat the dreams of their host and then "Mature"... Maturity kills the host and pretty much turns them into a monstrous creature.
The Mushibane really seem to just not fully understand what the Insects are doing... Having strange pipe dreams that Hosts and Normal people could live together in harmony. Wishful thinking of the uninformed...
Who we have...
Daisuke Kusuriya; Codename Kakkou. The "good guy".... Sorta. He works for the SEPB in rounding up other "Hosts" and taking them to the "GARDEN" {a prison of sorts.}. Taking the guise of a student he enters a High School in search of the leader of the Mushibane.
Rina Tachibana; Codename Lady. She's the leader of the Mushibane. Seemingly a normal High School Student, She has friends...She paints... She gets crushes... On Daisuke. >_>
Shiika Anmoto; Codename Winter Firefly. The only Fallen to have their insect brought back and only person to have ever escaped from the GARDEN. Four years before the story begins Kakkou kills her insect... She's a very powerful Host, Possibly the most.
Happening by Daisuke one day who instantly falls for her, not remembering her from years earlier. She also saves the Mushibane from the SEPB {it's not shown though} and ends up living with Rina/Lady.
Love Triangle.
Keigo Haji; Leader of the Local SEPB Branch. Pretty much an ass the entire show but... has a soft side it seems. He has a younger sister that lives by eating his dreams....
The Original Three; Not really touched on a lot but, It seems they are the reason the Mushi exist. As shown at least one of the three can blend in well with Humans, It's Rina and Daisuke's Homeroom Teacher.
The Devourer; One of the original three and Daisuke's Homeroom Teacher. She's the one who brought Shiika's Insect back and helped her escape from GARDEN. Wanting to allow the insect to mature so that she could eat her dream....
The End; Shiika looking for Rina runs first into the Devourer who plays the reveal game, Then saved by Cicada {I forgot her name} who also plays the reveal game {She loves Haji}and attacks Shiika. Cicada's Mushi ends up dead but Shiika is also gravely injured.
Rina goes to the GARDEN to try to free all of the Fallen, This goes horribly wrong when her Mushi starts to Mature and the Devourer ends up..well...Devouring her.
Daisuke....Uhg.
Lets just cut the torture and say.... Rina ends up dead, Shiika in the hospital and still free, Daisuka/Kakkou back to work with the SEPB. Shiika still doesn't seem to know that Kakkou is Daisuke but... She's supposed to meet Daisuke a year later on Christmas at the Planetarium so not all is bleak.
Favorite Character{s}:
Asami Minagawa; Rina's bubbly friend in HS, She ends up becoming a "Host" thanks to their Homeroom teacher. She's quite the Mushi Fanatic, Maintaining a website about them and even searching them out for photos. Sadly, In episode eight one of the SEPB destroy Asami's Mushi which was inside her camera.. A computer bug?
Least Favorite Character {s}:
Daisuke; Yep. I don't like him.... Can't quite pinpoint why I don't but he just seemed like a bad... "Main Guy".
Want More? Not really.

Crunchy Viewing
Voices of a Distant Star
This was about 25 Minutes worth of sad...
Set in the future, It revolves around Mikako and Noboru. Middle school students and friends, Their relationship just blosseming into more... As Noboru is entering High School however Mikako is sent off to join the UN Army to fight Aliens.
Into space she goes, Sending Noboru texts with her cell... the delivery time lengthens the further she gets from earth. With Mikako being in space and Noboru on earth, Her rate of aging slows drastically...
As time goes by at a normal pace on Earth, Noboru grows older having tried and failed to move on with his life he still waits.. In the meantime he joins the Military to hopefully be reunited with Mikako someday.
In the end, Mikako {still 15/16}is over eight lightyears from Earth and fighting the Enemy Alien and Noboru has now aged to 24 {+} and from what I gather is hoping to be going to rescue Mikako's group.
It's amazing how much emotion was packed into just 25 minutes... I really would like to think Noboru goes off into space and find Mikako so they can reunite. Even if he is nearly ten years older then her now...
Mushi Uta 1- 5
Bugs..... I bet Merry could handle these pests. They eat peoples dreams....and if killed the host slips into a "Dream Loss" type state. These Mushi Dream Demon like things actually come out into the physical world to protect their hosts.
More thoughts and details when I get to the end....

Gosick 6 ~ 8
Episode 6 ~ Points.
- Avril and Kujou are out and about together, In an open market like setting they first run into a strange
Magician who makes Kujou's text books disappear... and turn into a turban. They also meet a vendor fake
nun who is "selling" a plate... With an exploding music box and pigeons as distraction said Nun steals the
pretty plate.
- Kujou takes the disappearing plate case to V-Chan who quickly solves that it was the Nun {It was kind of
obvious anyways}, Telling Grevil this he makes the arrest.
- The Plate is Never Found.
- In the newspaper there's an open invitation to all Gray Wolf Descendants to come to the village near
Horovitz for the Summer Solsistice festival. Kujou shows this to V-Chan and off to Horovitz she goes.
- There's a little drama before going, V-Chan trips and falls on her face and reacts quite badly to the pain the
fall gave. Kujou trying to be funny flicks her in the forehead which causes her to go into a minor crying
meltdown..
- Even with V-Chan upset with him Kujou tags along to {The dentist} Horovitz with V-Chan. {He thinks
she's having teeth problems because her face is puffed up.} He's quick to figure out that they aren't going to
the dentist....
- On the Train the Nun pops up again, In their car of all places.
- After spending the night in Horovitz they make their way to the Village of Gray Wolves, V-Chan, Kujou,
The Nun Mildred and three males.
- The Welcome isn't that warm at first, the men of the village recognize V-Chan and Cordelia's daughter and
take up their swords. The Elder however has them back down and welcomes her even though she is the
daughter of a Murderer.
Episode 7 & 8
Cordelia Gallo ~ V-Chan's mother, She was once a maid in the Village of Gray Wolves but was exiled after it was believed that she killed Elder Theodore. 15 at the time, She went into his study at midnight to change the water in the jug... others {including the current Elder} saw her use a key to enter the room and then moments later scream and run out of the room.
Startled, The current Elder ran into the room and found Elder Theodore dead on the floor... a knife in his upper back. For an unknown reason there were gold coins scattered across the floor. {The village doesn't allow the gold coins to be used there so the Elder confiscates them}.
Cordelia fell sick after the incident but...after her fever went down the current Elder being the next in line at the time exiled her... With just a trunk of belongings and a single gold coin. She had never left the Village before...
-V-Chan and Kujou go to her mothers old house, under a floorboard they find a picture of Cordelia holding
V-Chan. Someone else had to have been there since Cordelia hadn't been back to the village.
Harminia ~ A {crazy} maid working for the Elder in the Village of Gray Wolves, When V-Chan first comes to the town she freaks out. Many spazzes later it's found thru a trick that she is the one who actually killed Elder Theodore.
They dress Kujou up in a strange outfit with a mask and have him push her over the edge so to speak, She believes Theodore came back from the dead and just spurts out that she did it. How?
Much like the situation in the open market with the pigeons, The gold coins were the distraction...
Harminia was hiding in the grandfather clock in Elder Theodore's room where the gold coins were also kept. When Theodore entered the room she swung open the door of the clock, gold coins flying everywhere. As he bent down to collect the coins she jumped from her hiding spot and plunged the dagger into his back.
After the attack she locked the door from the inside and hid away in the clock once again. Cordelia was the unlucky person to enter the room and find the body... and be blamed for the murder.
Why did she do it? The Oracle at the Mid-Summer Festival told her that she'd die in 20 years... at age 26. The Elder is the "Oracle" so... Somehow she believed killing him would stop her death. Of course no the current Elder has ordered her death, Telling Ambrose to chop her head off but... instead he lets her run.
Chaos ensues, Harminia sets many fires before attempting to run out of the village over the only drawbridge exit there was... Having chased her to the bridge V-Chan and the gang try to run across before the bridge is destroyed by the fire. Harminia goes after V-Chan... Kujou protects her...ladeeda... FightFight.. Harminia falls to her death and Kujou nearly does as well...
V-Chan catches him as he falls and... He climbs/gets pulled up. Where was Grevil, Ambrose and the Nun during the pulling up?
Harminia really did die at 26.
-The three men who came to the Village with Kujou and V-Chan ended up being thieves, At first they turned on each other...two died. One burned alive accidentally, Second was shot by the third but it was nearly blamed on the Elder.
V-Chan figured out they had been thieves who turned on each other and "saved" the Elder from whatever punishment needed to be done for him "killing" the man.
-The Nun Mildred was actually sent to spy on V-Chan and Kujou by Grevil, She had been calling him from time to time and that's why he showed up. He wanted to arrest the surviving thief but he apparently has no jurisdiction in the Village of Gray Wolves.
Village of Gray Wolves - Is actually the Kingdom of Seyrun, A legend about the Village says that what they lacked in physical strength they made up for with intelligence... Basically.
- Ambrose, A man from the Village of Gray Wolves who's fascinated by the outside world also ran across that bridge and left with V-Chan and her group.
TidBits.
When leaving the Village it shows the Magician from Episode 6, Standing on a cliff looking over the area with a short woman with long blonde hair. Cordelia of course.
- Avril and Kujou are out and about together, In an open market like setting they first run into a strange
Magician who makes Kujou's text books disappear... and turn into a turban. They also meet a vendor fake

Lets Pretend....
That Winter never happened.
I do almost nothing in the winter, I try to survive the cold and crap and hope for Spring. This past Winter has sucked ass for the most part...
The cold weather seemed to creep in waaayyy before Winter actually started, Sometime in November just in time for Christmas shopping. Last winter didn't seem nearly as bad but that may be because my Gym was still just over the hill....
The gym makes me happy.
I did discover my walking limit however... 19 degrees and below. With the wind it feels even worse... A mile walk to the gym in that weather is hellish. I did do it quite a few times, I'm stubborn and hate to ask for rides but have broken down on days that didn't get above 18.
Thankfully, The winter seemed to let up around mid Feburary. Early Winter means Early Spring? Of course as I type this it's 38 degrees outside but that is much, much better then 20.
Christmas{Saturday} was... almost just like Christmas of 2009. It had snowed the day before and we were unable to go to the grandmothers house... Instead we went to see a movie. Narnia. Then Chinese food from one of the only restaurants opened in the area.
All and All it was quite nice, Just me and the dad without the stress of family drama. Until....
Sunday the First. We had a New Years/Late Christmas get together which wasn't that bad. Not much Drama, Just a laid back time.
Other then Christmas not much as really happened.
Just Cold, Snow, Ice and Crap.
Oh.... >_> Got the hair cut...washed and cut... No styling or anything back in the 23rd of February. I should have asked what the price was before getting it cut, Last time at the same place was 20 dollars but this time... OMG... 30 dollars. Hmph.

Saki seems to like Takateru a bit.
Merry's coming to terms with the fact she may be terminating the other Dream Demons, Not sending them back....
A little boy gets his dreams eaten.
By Treesea....
Expected Merry to show up during the fight but... Treesea pretty much just kicked the big dudes ass.
One more Dream Loss.
Now, Who is housing Treesea and Lighthouse/Elcres? Probably two of the creepy people.

- Isana has her meeting with him today, She still wants to be a painter but doesn't seem vibrantly sure.

- Merry's supposed to be escorting Yumeji to the Clinic but she gets sidetracked...
At the Clinic....
- The Doctor's a little strange.
- Yui is his grand daughter.
- Once the doctor figures out they know each other.... it goes into a grandson to be conversation with Yui's parents{?} making an appearance.
- Yumeji finds out that Yui is Engi's vessel.
- Much apologizing to Yumeji for injuring him.
Finding Merry...
-Engi/Yui is waiting outside the doughnut shop.
- Two strange guys are in the shop talking really loud.
- Yumeji goes in to get Merry and... a day dream expands.
Dream Demon...
- Freaky Circus Like, Maze Landsborough!
- He refers to Elcres as his "Master"
- Engi and Yui are also in this daydream.
- Lots of talking... then cliff hanger.
More Interesting....
Patty.
Engi's Sister.
Engi is going thru her sisters last memories... Being chased thru a dark and dead forest by Lighthouse. Her feet get stuck... he catches up and kills her.
Engi's startles Yui leading to a touching scene between the two. It's like Engi is her big sister... In the memories it seems that Yui is a lot like Patty was.
Elcres is twisted looking.
Creepy Teacher is still Creepy.
Creepy Exchange Student not as creepy as before.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? 1 ~ 6
First Half.
Harem.
Who Killed Me?
A Little Stupid.
Sat and watched all six episodes in one night.
The Who....
Ayumu Aikawa; The Zombie of the story. While walking home from the store he comes across a murder in progress, entering the residence he too is slain by the murderer. He is later brought back as a zombie by Eucliwood Hellscythe {a necromancer he had met earlier in the day}, who then moves in with him.
As a Zombie he can exceed human limitations, although he can still feel physical pain he cannot "die". He doesn't handle fire or the sun very well, sort of drying up like jerky when in the sun too long. It also seems that he can absorb magic since he steals Haruna's Masou Shojou abilities.
Throughout the first six episodes Ayumu is searching for who killed him and acquiring strange new housemates along the way. Harem.
Eucliwood Hellscythe; The Necromancer; She brought Ayumu back from the dead to be her servant and has been living with him since. She wears armor to suppress her magic and communicates by writing things on a pad of a paper, Her words have the power to kill. {Literally, She says die and that's pretty much what the target does.}.
She too can apparently turn into a Masou Shoujo.......
Haruna; The Masou Shoujo; She happens by Ayumu in a graveyard while attempting to kill a giant bear Megalo. During the battle Ayumu ends up in the way and she uses her chainsaw Mystletainn on him and the Megalo, Sawing Ayumu in half. The fact he didn't die was a bit surprising to her and she attempts to erase his memories using her magic.... and he absorbs her magic.
She ends up moving in with Ayumu as well.
Seraphim: A Ninja Vampire; She normally refers to Ayumu as a piece of shit. At first Sera wishes to be Eucliwood's servant but, she is denied...... deciding to stick around to see if Eu will change her mind she too ends up staying at Ayumu's house.
Orito ; Basically the only other male in the series, He's Ayumu's friend from school. He's the one who first introduces Kyoko to Ayumu....
The Killer.
Kyoko; First she was a helpless girl in the hospital and then she's a psycho. A Masou Shoujo gone awry she is the killer who killed Ayumu and many others, With each sacrifice she gained a "life". Which makes it hellishly difficult to kill.....
Taking on Ayumu, Haruna and Sera at the same time she pretty much wipes the floor with them. Eucliwood shows up who even has some difficult with the girl, using her words she continuously tells her to die. Each life ticking away until Kyoko busts her own eardrums..... She can't hear the words and with a point blank blast she even levels Eucliwood.
Who beats her? Masou Shoujo Ayumu! With his {Haruna's} power saw he slices away each life till she's on her last one.... Passing out from fear they leave her alive. Dai-Sensei {Masou Shoujo Teacher} shows up to take Kyoko back but before she can... Kyoko wakes up and starts to talk... In a different way... Seems she's been possessed by the King of Night.
Good show?
Not Really.
Going to Finish it?
Maybe....

IS: Infinite Stratos 3 ~ 8
Didn't I drop this?
Sure did.
Why is it here?
No idea.
Just for the hell of it, I started back in on episode three.
Entrances.
Lin Yin Fang - A Chinese Representative Candidate, Her personal IS is called Shen Long. Having attended junior high with him, She's the "second" childhood friend of Ichika. When they were young she told him that she would learn to make sweet and sour pork so that she could make it for him everyday. Ichika took this as her making him free food but in reality... she was meaning that she would be his wife.
Now at the IS Academy, She trys to boot Houki from Ichika's room so that she could move in with him. In the process of attempting this, she issues a wager on the Inter Class Tournament. Winner gets to have looser consent to one request.
Their battle ends up interrupted by a strange, unmanned robot thing which the two of them fight and barely defeat.
Charles Dunoa ~ Look! It's a male! heh... A French Representative Candidate, His personal IS is called Rafale Revive Custom II. Being the second male in the Academy he ends up being roomed with Ichika, With Houki being booted. {poor Houki}
All is well for a while, The girls are swooning over both Charles and Ichika but... yea.. Charles is really Charlotte. She was sent to the Academy to spy on Ichika by her father/fathers company, The Dunoa Company is the third largest IS related company in the world.. but they are falling behind.
She was supposed to gather information on Ichika and his IS, This was all discovered after Ichika walks in on "Charles" while she's getting out of the shower. He forgives the situation quickly and decides to help her...
Laura Bodewig ~ A German Representative Candidate, Her personal IS is called Schwarzer Regen. She followed Chifuyu to the Academy from Germany, She hates Ichika with a passion when she first arrives due to something that happened a long time ago that caused Chifuyu to forfeit a Championship match.
She attacks Lin and Cecilia, going far beyond just beating them she nearly kills the two before Ichika and Charles show up... Besting the two of them as well just before striking Charles down Chifuyu shows up.
{No more fighting till the Inter Class Tournament.}
Laura is some sort of super soilder or was... When the IS units were developed she didn't quite synch up with them enough to truely be "super". She had nanomachines implanted in her left eye to help but that experiement failed.
The Tournament ~ It will be pairs matches, Lin and Cecilia both wanted to be Ichika's pair but he chooses Charles. Turns out however that the damage done by Laura to their bodies and their IS's Lin and Cecilia can't participate in the tournament anyways.
Those who don't choose get paired up in a lottery... Houki gets paired with Laura of all people. First round, Charles and Ichika Vs. Laura and Houki. Laura's not much of a team player so, that was a bit of a mess.... Charles finishes Houki off pretty fast {disables her IS} then joins Ichika in the fight against Laura.
It's not as one sided as I thought it'd be, With teamwork Laura goes down pretty fast but then..... Laura's IS mutates... with her inside it forms a giant...sword wielding woman thing.. The tournament attendees and students are all evacuated and Ichika ends up taking it down without killing Laura.
Laura's IS is or was apparently equipped with a banned VT System, Valkyrie Trace System. When the pilots mental state, will and damage taken were all at the correct levels it would activate...and did.
Date ~ A rumor was started around the school of anyone who won the Tournament would get to date Ichika. Since the Tournament was canceled no one won and no one gets to date him.
This rumor was started with the ease droppings of a conversation between Ichika and Houki... Houki says that if she wins the Tournament he'd go out with her. However at the end of the eighth episode Ichika approaches Houki and says he would go out with her..... out shopping. >_> Clueless.
Charlotte Dunoa ~ Charles finally decides to show his real self and introduces herself as her true self, Charlottte. Of course this is a shock to everyone but Ichika.... Certainly since the night before the two of them were in the "guys" bath together.
During her introduction Houki is angered {room sharing} and Lin busts into the room with her IS, Cannon set on Ichika she attemps to blast him and... Laura defends him with her own IS. Laura turns, snatches Ichika up and kisses him! Finally Someone Did It! She proclaims that he will be her Wife.
Only 4 More Episodes.
Will watch them when they are all out.
Sure did.

Yumekui Merry 5 & 6
Episode 5 ~ Merry Goes Shopping.
Well, That's not really the highlight of the episode... Winged Dream Demon is back!
Yui Kounagi; A friendly.... seemingly childish high schooler. While admiring a doll Merry accidentally bumps
into her, causing the doll to fly into the air with Yumeji just barely catching it before it hit the ground. This got him a nice view of Yui and her friend Nao's panties of course which caused a uproar from Nao .
Dream Demon of the Day; Engi Threepieces. This one's a lot different the past demons, She seems much stronger and really has a reason for being in the human world. Pulling Merry and Yumeji into her "dream world" she and Merry fight, things look bleak until Yumeji takes a sword hit meant for Merry and.... Cliffhanger.
Engi is looking for Pharos Elcres, Another Dream Demon who apparently has something to do with her sisters death. In the flashbacks, Her sister is quite the cheerful girl that wants to go to the real world...
Tidbits; Merry's been in the real world for 10 years.
Seems the dream demons that Merry's been "sending back" are basically just dieing.
Episode 6 ~ Kitty Girls!
Where we left off.....
Yumeji runs to protect Merry from Engi's sword attack and takes quite a hit. Blood gushing from his chest Merry rushes to him and Engi just seems... Shocked. The pissed off Merry turns her attention back to Engi, Key rings appear around her wrists and she goes into Uber Merry Power Mode. Engi's dreamworld starts to shatter...along with her swords and she decides to retreat.
Back in the Real World; Merry is concerned for Yumeji but, He's pretending like nothings wrong as they walk home {Still not home from the store.}.
Yui-Engi is also feeling the effects from the dream world battle, Engi compares Merrys powers to that of Elcres'. Engi needs to rest and Yui is back in control of her body... Her friend Nao shows back up. Asking if she {Yui} finally hit puberty and if she at least got Yumeji's email address. Yui's so cute and innocent.. ;.;
Yumeji and Merry finally get home, Yumeji pretty much heads directly up to his room... Once inside he finally shows that he truely is injured from the dream world battle. Merry then comes to his door, wanting to play video games with him again she enters and finds him writhing in pain/passed out on his bed...
Dreamworld; Welcome back Chaser John Doe!
John Doe's been watching.
Commenting on Yumeji's "Spiritual Wound" he's surprised he stayed conscious so long, This would be the perfect time for him to make Yumeji his vessel but.... he's not like that.
Poof!
John Doe makes Kitty Girls Appear!
The girls are there to treat his wounds, gauze and ointment. Yumeji sort of freaks out but John Doe just chuckles... He also reveals that he knows about the fight via... I guess. Neko TV. heh....
Learning.
-Yumeji can still enter dreams because John Doe is still wandering around his own.
- Elcres is a Dream Demon, He uses his light to draw other Dream Demons to him and then takes them over
to expand his territory.
- Dream Demons normally do not work together, Unless their goals align.
- John Doe was one of the Demons who followed Elcres' light to the real world.
- Elcres may have something to do with Merry showing up in the real world.
-There's another Dream Demon that broke thru to reality, He could be more dangerous then Elcres. His name
is Mistiltienn Treesa, He's probably that twisted thing that kill the flower demon a couple episodes back.
Real World.
Yumeji is absent from school, Merry is watching over him the entire day.
-Takateru and Saki tease Isana a little about how she should be home caring for Yumeji.
- Chizuru seems a little too interested in Isana's "dreams".
- Isana would like to paint for a living.
Dream Loss; People have been loosing their motivation and dreams recently, The girl back in episode two is one of them. They seem to be in an almost a Zombie-ish state. Seems to be most common in Yumeji's school then anywhere else... the numbers keep growing.
Creepy People; Chizuru, Takateru and Iijima.
In flashbacks, It's shown that Engi brought Yui into her dream and asked for her help. The way Engi presents herself causes Yui to agree and now Engi occasionally controls Yui's body to hunt down dream demons...

Puella Magi Madoka Magica 7 & 8
Episode 7 ~ Questions are a good thing.
After the last episode I thought this could be a minorly fluffy one but... It kept chugging along.
At Sayaka's Home.
Upset could be a bit of an understatement to describe Sayaka's mental state, Kyubey's answer to why he didn't inform her{them} about the Soul Egg {Gem} being "You didn't ask" didn't help much. He of course goes on... Show's Sayaka what the pain would be like if in fact she had taken a spear thru the stomach.. He's a twisted little critter.
At school the next day, Sayaka skips. Madoka and Homura have a little chat about Kyubey, her knowing about the gems and what not.... Homura being her normally blunt self. Telling Madoka to give up on Sayaka, That such miracles like Kamijou's hands healing have a very big price...and so on... Madoka crying is getting a little annoying.
Back at Sayaka's house, Kyouko shows up and they go for a little field trip together... to a broken down church. Turns out it was Kyouko's fathers church and here is how Kyouko was made a Magi...
Background; Kyouko's father was a preacher, He was a very kind man who felt that a new way of thinking was needed for the new age. He started to preach things differently then the main church....everyone left... he was excommunicated from the main church. Noone wanted to listen to him, preaching common sense and doing the right thing.... His family then went hungry.
Kyouko then went to Kyubey, Asked him to make the people at least try to see her fathers side. The next day the church was full... more and more people would come each day. Kyouko was fighting Witches, Her father preaching. It was sort of like a team... Until he found out about her.
He found out that all the people came because of magic, not because they believed... This drove him insane. He called her a witch that manipulated peoples minds.... he started to drink... then slayed her entire family.
Wishes will even themselves out, Wish for hope and an equal amount of despair will come with it. Kyouko now uses her powers for herself, no one else...she lives for herself and tells Sayaka that she should do the same.....
Sayaka is bent on that not being her though, She doesn't regret anything....yet.... She gives a bit of a valiant speech but... I don't think that feeling will last.
The next day, At school... Sayaka is back and apparently so is Kamijou. This just really isn't Sayaka's week.... She meets Hitomi after school and Hitomi has brought an ultimatum , Hitomi has like Kamijou for quite a while and she knows that Sayaka does as well... She is giving Sayaka 24 hours to confess to him or she will.
Witch Hunting
Madoka meets Sayaka outside of her building, Sayaka seems a bit surprised by this... She is starting to regret . She was thinking what if she hadn't saved Hitomi .... Hitomi is going to take Kamijou away from her because she's all ready dead... she's a Zombie. CryCry,HugHug.
Cut to the battle, Sayaka has found herself a full blown witch. Kyouko is actually just sitting above it all, eating a Popsicle and watching {Homura joins her}. When Kyouko thinks Sayaka can't handle the witch she jumps down.... Sayaka tells her to go away.
The shadow play in this is beautiful, Sayaka's giggling as she slices the tentacles of the witch... the background music... The bashing and of the witch... Sayaka has pretty much lost it. Embracing the fact that she really can't feel the pain the witch is inflicting on the body since... the souls not really in there.
And that's how it ends.
Episode 8 ~ For some reason I just can't feel bad for Sayaka.....
With Madoka and Kyouko watching on, Sayaka finally kills the witch... Retrieving the Grief Seed she throws it over to Kyouko "I don't want to owe you any favors.". Sayaka walks over to Madoka and she reverts back to her "normal" self and nearly passes out on Madoka.
She's worn out.
Madoka helps her away from the scene and the two of them talk in private, Sayaka just turns pure bitch on poor Madoka {Madoka's crying is getting old though.}. Sayaka ends up running away from Madoka telling her to stay away from her.....
"I'm a total moron! Why did I say that to her?"
Cut to Kyouko and Homura, Hanging out.... somewhere. Talking about Walpurgisnacht, Kyubey interupts the two. Kyouko gives him the point of her spear welcome but he's just there to inform the two of Sayaka's impending doom... She's wearing out. Both body and magic... Her Gem is becoming too corrupt.
Homura shoo's Kyubey off.
At school, Sayaka isn't at school and Madoka is blaming herself as always. I swear this girl needs some self confidence....Wonder where she lost it.
After school, Hitomi is walking with Kamijou "You live over here?" he asks and she informs him that they need to talk.
Sayaka didn't come home the previous night.
Sitting on a bench together Hitomi and Kamijou are talking, Sayaka is hiding behind a pillar close by.. What are they talking about though? She doesn't seem to be able to hear the two.... I'm betting it's not what she thinks.
Sayaka is slipping further and further away.
Killing all sorts of critters/familiars Sayaka is met by Homura, Homura throws her a grief seed so that she can purify her Soul Egg but... Nope. Sayaka won't have any of that. There's a bit of a chatter between the two of them but it ends with Homura trying to kill Sayaka....again.
Homura doesn't want Madoka to watch her {Sayaka} "fall", So instead she was going to kill her but.. Kyouko comes to Sayaka's rescue. Sayaka scurries {hobbles} off and Kyouko keeps hold of Homura for... a few seconds.
Grenade. Homura Gone. Kyouko Grrrr.
Sayaka on a train with two men, The men are talking about women and basically comparing them to dogs. I'm not entirely sure what Sayaka did to the two but... it really looks like she may have went witch on their ass.
Madoka and Kyubey talking, On a bench. Madoka of course is emoing over everything that's happening and being worthless and no good, Kyubey is trying to sell the whole Magi thing to her again... She will be amazingly powerful if she were to become a Magi. Perhaps.... She could save Sayaka.
She's about to agree to become a Magi and... Homura shoots Kyubey full of holes. Yes, We have Swiss Cheese Kyubey here... "Why must you always sacrifice yourself..."
Homura certainly knows Madoka somehow, She's actually getting emotional this time around... Homura is crying on her hands and knees and Madoka runs off to find Sayaka.
Reenter Kyubey, A Clone!! He eats the Swiss Cheese...erm... Hole Filled Kyubey and then rolls around cutely on the bench. {Uhg}. He's figured Homura out to a point, Seems she's killed him before and she has some sort of Time Control power.....
He declares that she's from another timeline and... She knows who he is and what his plans are. She's there to stop them and his name is or he is actually Incubator.
Kyubey's probably evil, Not a big shock there.
Kyouko has finally found Sayaka, Sitting in a chair somewhere {can't tell where.} the two of them talk... Sayaka has pretty much given up, She no longer has anyone to protect and nothing to fight for. Showing her Soul Egg it's looking really sad... Corrupted. "The Balance of Hope and Despair is always Zero."
Kyouko looks shocked, Sayaka starts to cry... as she talks her tear falls down and lands on her Soul Egg. A "witch" field seems to expand, Kyouko is blasted backwards.... the Soul Egg breaks to reveal a Grief Seed.
Sayaka's turning into a Witch.
Kyubey is looking off over the city "Growing young women are called girls. So it's only proper that you, turning into witches, are called magical girls."

Ore no Imouto ~ 12 TR
I had almost forgotten about this....
It's basically a retelling of the twelfth episode to take the series a different route...
Not a lot changed.
Kirino still acts abnormally nice to Kyousuke in the morning, then later on in the evening she drops the bomb of wanting him to go buy her a new game at midnight. He goes and still runs into his friend who is there for his own sister who wants the man on man game.... and after that it changes a little.
In this version he misses the last train home, Not wanting to disappoint Kirino he begs a guy to borrow his bike... his bike decked out in little sister stuff. Riding and riding he finally makes it back home, Kirino lets him inside...
Pretty much the same for a little while, they play the game together and Kirino wants to show him something before he goes to bed.
Rummaging around in the closet a different game falls out... whatever game it was prompted Kyousuke to ask if she liked to eat poop? Must have been a fetish game. She even seemed a bit freaked out by the game itself, saying she didn't know what type it was before she bought it.
Back to the rummaging, She pulls out the box with the Album and other things in it. Kyousuke doesn't go after the Album this time saying he doesn't want to see it, So the tickets to America never have a chance to fall out of it. Instead she shows him a box with her track medals and times in it... shares a bit of a touching story and then he's finally allowed to go to bed.
The next morning, Breakfast. Kyousuke comes down to his mother and father seated at the table, starting to eat he asks if Kirino had gone to practice... his parents seem a bit shocked and tell him that Kirino has gone to America until High School. Their father says that he was against it but she used the money she eared from her job and the book to buy the ticket to America...
Kyousuke seems sad.
Time passes.
Kyousuke is walking to school with Manami, Manami points out that he's been nicer recently and he chops her on the head. As this happens a girl walks by the two.... Kyousuke seems to recognize her from the back.. Runs up to her and it's... Kuroneko! Kyousuke is now her Senpai!
Rundown.
Kirino's gone.
Kuroneko is now going to Kyousuke's school.
Apparently there's three more episodes to this little string.... Hope there's more!
Wonder what happened to that bike....

Gosick 4 & 5
Episodes 4 & 5
These episodes were actually more enjoyable then the first set....
Grevil arrests Kujou for Murder!
Yes, That's how this starts out. After some minor panic he is allowed to go see Victorique for help, Along with Grevil....while handcuffed. There he recounts the story....
That morning the housemother Sofie asked him to go shopping, On the way he's talking to himself.... about women. He's a teenage boy of course he wants a girlfriend...a blonde haired one at that. Coming upon another road he hears the sound of a motorcycle, the rider whisks past him and... into over a brick wall. Pop! His head comes off... blood flowing off into the sky.
Long story short, There was a wire strung out across the path {connected to two trees} and when the rider came along it cut off his head. A woman with blonde hair and an injured hand did it {she cut herself on the wire}, Victorique informs Grevil of this who finds the woman and arrests her.
That was short.
New Student! Avril Bradley from England. There's another blonde for Kujou!
Well, By the end of the fifth episode it's found out that "Avril" isn't the real "Avril" she's actually the second Phantom Thief {that Grevil has been looking for} She comes to the Academy and takes Avril's place to get a rare stamp that Avril's grandfather {a famous adventurer} was sending to his granddaughter on a Post Card.
The real Avril and the Second Phantom Thief were on a train to the Academy together and the Phantom Thief overpowered Avril, tied her up and put her in the storehouse. Kujou and his teacher by chance found her... at first thinking she was the ghost of the storehouse.
Within that there was also a long dead man that fell out of the crypt, Turns out he was Maxim the first Phantom Thief... Every Spring he'd return to the school to hide his stolen treasures in the Crypt. The last time however... He was accidentally sealed inside the crypt before he could get out.
Of course it took Victorique to figure all of this stuff out, She even saves Kujou from the fake Avril while the two fought in the Library... She threw books down on her.
With all the twists and turns I didn't quite write everything here of course.... Really in the end it turned out pretty easy to figure out though....... The fake Avril was arrested and the real one was saved, Her grandfathers postcard was given to her and all is right once again.

Freezing 1 ~ 6
Half Way Mark.
Earth has been invaded and is at war with a race of Aliens called the Nova. Genetically enhanced females called Pandoras and their male partners Limiters are the only defense against the threat.
Kazuya Aoi
-Younger brother of Kazuha Aoi, A very talented Pandora who gave her life to destroy a Nova
-Newly Enrolled in West Genetics Academy.
-Has a bit of a sister complex.
- Causes Satellizer to loose her Number One Rank when he pounces her in the beginning, Allowed Gennesa
Roland to defeat her and take the Number One position.
- Persistent. Bent on becoming Satellizers Limiter.
- Uses the Limiters skills {at a very high level} without being Baptised.
Satellizer el Bridget
- The Untouchable Queen, She hates being touched to the point of killing most who do so.
- Has a strange soft spot for Kazuya.
- Wears glasses when not fighting.
- Very anti social.
- Loves to eat Hamburgers....
- Thinks of the Baptism as Dirty, Doesn't have a Limiter because of this.
Little Bits, Most of the show has been Kazuya trying to become Satellizer's Limiter and her slowly warming up to him. As of episodes five and six however there is another girl who wants Kazuya to be her "Soul Mate" {Limiter}.
Rana Linchen
- Enrolls at Second Year Level, Even though she's new.
- Physical fighter.
- Has six stigma's or "Tears of Kunlun"
- Wants Kazuya as her "Soul Mate" Limiter.
- Can hold her own against Satellizer. {they fight for Kazuya in episode six}
- Seems very friendly so far...
Why? Surprising enough there's more to the show then chicks kicking ass while getting their clothes ripped off. With episode four, Ingrid Vernstein a third year student who lost a very close friend against a Nova a year ago.
While they were still second year students, Marine {her friend} gave her life to protect the first year students from a surprise attack by a Type S Nova. Ingrid had always been angry and believed that the first years ran away and abandoned Marine but that wasn't really the case... Marine knew the first years didn't stand a chance so she basically sacrificed herself so they could escape.
The episode made things feel a bit deeper, Gave better character to Gennesa, Kazuya and a number of the other characters.
So yes..... I will continue on to the end of this series.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica 5 & 6
Episode 5 ~ Magi Vs Magi.
Wondering how long Sayaka's happiness is going to last.
The episode starts with showing how the contract between Sayaka and Kyubey was formed, Kyubey brings Sayaka's cute lil soul egg{gem} fourth and her wish is apparently granted.
At school; Madoka, Sayaka and Hitomi are in class. Hitomi yawns and then explains to them about being at the hospital and police station all night, Apparently she was "sleepwalking" and woke up surrounded by a lot of people who as the doctors said had a "Collective Hallucination".
Of course Madoka and Sayaka had to pretend that they had no idea what had happened. Hitomi is okay though...
Madoka; She's worried about Sayaka being a Magi, Obviously imagining bad things happening after seeing Mami killed. She goes to talk to Homura, to see if she will fight with Sayaka and Homura is absolutely no help. Although she does seem a bit annoyed that Sayaka became a Magi, Stating that she should have been watching both her and Madoka.
At the Hospital; Kamijou's arm has healed, His legs aren't quite better yet so he can't leave the hospital. This pleases Sayaka and he even apologizes to her for the things he said last episode....
The Fight; With Madoka tagging along Sayaka goes out to hunt witches, Chasing after a Familiar is when Kyouko shows up. Kyouko wants the familiar to get away so that it can feed on humans, become a witch and can be killed for a Grief seed.
This idea doesn't sit well with Sayaka and the two of them fight... sorta.. Kyouko has the upper hand nearly the entire time and just before Madoka makes a contract with Kyubey to become a Magi to save Sayaka... Homura shows up and saves her.
Interesting; It seems that Kyubey doesn't know much/anything about Homura. Kyouko asks about her and he states that she only "Sort of" made a pact with him to become a Magi.
Episode 6 ~ Things get more interesting.
Homura to the Rescue! Kyouko turned tail and ran pretty fast and really Homura's powers are a bit strange compared to the other girls. With Sayaka out cold {Homura knocked her out}, Kyouko's retreat, Madoka thanks Homura but she doesn't hold back her anger.. She's quite pissed that Madoka keeps getting involved.
Sakaya; Keeps cleaning her Soul Gem with the Grief Seed the witch in Episode 4 apparently dropped. I was wondering if she dropped one, With the Seed being really dark Kyubey "eats" it... sorta.. He stores it in his body somehow.
Sayaka however needs another Grief Seed to help her Gem, Lacking the Skills {Like Mami had} and the Grief Seeds {Kyouko has} she's pretty much a underpowered magi.
Kyubey; OMG, You little demon critter. I swear he is just drooling all over the idea of Madoka becoming a Magi. He hints it to everyone, brings it up all the time. Talking to Sayaka he points out that Madoka would have the power to defeat Kyouko even without the Seeds and no Experience if she were to become a Magi.
Kyouko; Has a thing for Pocky. Homura approaches her at an arcade{?} while she's playing a dance game, Tells her that she can have the city and that she will take care of Sayaka.
Apparently Walpurgis Night is coming... Kyouko actually offers to help Homura with that. Whatever that is.
Madoka; She trys to talk Sayaka into talking to Kyouko next time they meet but, That's not happening. Sayaka has pretty much gone into crazy, killer mode even when it comes to other Magi. Other Magi who don't think like Mami did that is..
Not knowing that Mami had tied Homura up the night she was killed, Sayaka thinks Homura was just waiting for Mami to die so she could steal with Witch/Seed from her. Madoka doesn't have a chance to explain what really happened...
At home, Madoka has a chat with her mother in the wee hours of the morning. Telling her in a round about way of what's happening with Sayaka... Her mother says that even when you're doing everything "right" sometimes someone has to do something wrong for you.
The Fight; Kamijou has been released from the Hospital and Sayaka is looking for him, Kyouko approaches her and offers to break his arms and legs so that he can be hers. Yea, That goes over well.
The two of them go somewhere less public {a bridge over a road, at night}, Kyouko transforms, Homura shows up and tells Kyouko that she'll take care of Sayaka, Sayaka takes out her Soul Egg and... Madoka having showed up with a little "please don't fight" chatter grabs it and throws it off the bridge to land on a passing truck.
Kyubey and Homura are the only ones who know the outcome to this, Homura goes after the egg and Kyubey stays around to explain/witness the events. Sayaka runs to Madoka then, falls into her arms. Kyubey tells Madoka that she just threw her friend away and to do something, Kyouko grabs Sayaka by the neck and raises her up..... She's dead.
This even angers Kyouko, Not knowing what the hell is going on she turns to Kyubey... A Magi must stay withing 100 meters of their Soul Gems. Otherwise the body will "die". They can't fight Witches with normal bodies so when they make the contracts with Kyubey he extracts their soul from their bodies to make the Soul Gems. This way when the body is damaged they can use magic to heal themselves....
Kyouko looks like she's about to throw Kyubey off the bridge when Homura shows back up with Sayaka's Egg..... She wakes back up.... End of Episode.
Words; I wish someone would squish Kyubey. Got quite a bit of new info in this episode.. The Soul Gem thing is creepy yet really does make sense. As long as your Gem is fine and around your body can be cured..
I bet Homura is from the Future.
Maybe all the Girls can make friendly now.

Rio -Rainbow Gate- 5
Episode 5 ~ It wasn't a boat, A floating Casino.
Linda; The new girl with strange tan lines. She's a robot and main computer of the Sky Resort. She's rather ditzy, clumsy and her head falls off quite often...
Rundown; Owner has another new Casino destination, The Sky Resort. At first it just looked like a casino sitting on a mountain but as it turns out... it can fly. After a tour of the new Casino, Linda ends up being controlled by the daily "bad guy" and challenges Rio to a Gate Battle.
A Stupid Gate Battle.
The Battle; Water Slides, The resort has the longest water slides in the world. These aren't normally slides they go all throughout the floating Casino, snaking about and even going outside of it. You win the "battle" by being the first one to the bottom.
There are many different ways to get to the bottom but they are all the same in length, just not in speed. Rio of course wins and Linda is returned to "normal".
The Bad Guy; The one who hijacked Linda sounded like a little kid but, A blonde woman called Cartia shows up at the end in the Owners office. One of those two were the owner of the gate card.
Words; Not sure why I keep watching this, It's sort of relaxing though.

Yumekui Merry 3 & 4
Episode 3 ~ Be careful about what's overhead.
Things like to fall at Yumeji.
The dreams we see while we're asleep actually come from a parallel world. Yumeji is trying to grasp this and the whole Dream Demon thing of course, He's also trying to find Merry to try and help her.
Dream Demon Food; First, Merry meet Minato. A little girl with a doughnut and no friends.... Minato gives her half the doughnut which apparently means they are for now BFFs. Soon after, Yumeji meets Minato's can... Be careful about what's overhead.
Merry is once again being attacked by black birds, hearing her voice Yumeji turns and... she falls on him again. {Be careful about what's overhead.} Now the three of them make nice, talk, Minato talks about Ichima and apparently she can only come out at night.
Kick the can time, Ten games later and both Yumeji and Merry are worn out... Minato has a lot of energy beating them in all the games. It's time to go home but before that... Yumeji wants to do a little dream fortune telling.
The dream aura he sees around Minato he does not like, It's the same one that he had when John Doe was after him in his dreams. Enter Daydream.
Dream Demon of the Day; Ichima, Turns out she was preparing Minato to be her vessel. Ichima is not a happy Dream Demon when she finds out that Minato has made some friends... Just as she's attempting to posses Minato, Merry shows up... Some words back and forth, a little fighting {face pinching}, giant things falling from the sky.. Ichima finally retreats back into the dream world. {Yumeji had shown up too, To Merrys surprise.}
Merry trys to follow after but it's no use.
The End; Minato decides to go make friends with the other kids at the playground, Merry freaks out a bit that Yumeji can tell where the Dream Demons are going to pop up just by making a circle with his fingers and looking thru... It's team up time! {Almost}
And who are you? |
Tidbit; The exchange student Chizuru seems to be a Dream Demon Vessel.
Episode 4 ~ I am seeing a pattern here.
Points....
- Merry meets Yumeji's friends and discovers video games and maracas.
- Isana makes friendly with Chizuru.
Dream Demon of the Day; Chris Evergreen. He didn't seem like that bad of a "guy", He possessed Yumeji's friend Mei and was texting her. Technically she was texting herself... It was a little strange.
Final ; Merry and Yumeji are teaming up now!
