Star Driver 11 ~ 13

Episode 11 ~  A Kanako/President Adult Bank Episode.

        - Since midterms are over Kanako throws a party for her class on her yacht {minus the alligator?} and  

           Wako sings.

        - Sugata meets Head who is watching the sunset, They chat a little.

        - Kanako's husband Leon Wantanabe is Simon's father. Told by her sister only a year before {in the 

          hospital after an accident.}Simon's mother Melisande was Wantanabe's secretary, They fell in love and 

          she had two children. Mylene and Pamela.  With their father marrying Kanako, Mylene told Pamela to 

          become Kanako's secretary.  She changed her name to Simone and did so...

        - Simone wants Takashi to fight Takuto again so they can control the Glittering Crux if he beats him. His 

           StarDriver Tzadikt was all ready defeated by Takuto so... 

Zero Time;  Simone/Secretary and Takashi/Banker Vs Takuto.  In much the same fashion as Scarlet Kiss and Sugata, Simone appriovoise's her Daletos and Takashi enters along with her to fight for her. Using the Amethyst sword from his first battle with Takuto the two of them together is almost too much for the Galactic Pretty Boy..
    Seems like Heads chat may have boosted Sugata's self confidence a little, He without hesitation uses the Kings Pillar and it boosts the power of Takuto's swords...  That's when it was game over.

         - Takuto sort of scolds Sugata for using the Pillar but... even quoting Head Sugata says "Talent is
            granted by God."
         - Simone's sister Mylene shows up and to Simone's dismay she is quite close to Kanako. She tells
            Simone that after the accident a year ago, When "Simone" wasn't waking up... Kanako saw their
            mother crying and appriovoised to save her.  Their mother introduced Kanako and Mr. Wantanabe..
         - Kanako has always known who Simone was she was just playing along.. Simone still hates her.

Episode 12 ~   This episode wasn't that great....

           - The Glittering Crux can now fix the broken Cybodies, Only there's a small problem.. For the
              regeneration process to work the Pilot must help, The Cybody needs it's pilots "life force".  If the
              pilot does not have enough "life force" then...well... You possibly get what happened with Samekh's
              drivers. So, Before they try to fix Ayingott they will be testing it on other broken Cybodies.
                  It's possible that Sugata only woke up because Samekh has fixed itself.
           -  Kanako and Takuto have a coffee "date".
            - Sugata and Head chat a little at sunset again.  {This has to be leading up to something.}

Zero Time;  Kanako Vs Takuto.   It's a giant boxing ring! Turns out Kanako is some uber boxer, Her cybody is pretty much the same.  The battle doesn't last long at all.... First round going to Kanako but then Takuto gets a knock out pile buster thing against her.  Boring.

             - Cutest part of the episode, Takuto walking to/from school and Kanako pulls up in her car... The
                driver stopping the car she rolls down her window and asks for a Glass Kiss.   "Close your eyes,
                and don't mind the glass" ... She powers the window back up a bit and kisses the glass herself.
               After a minor freak out session Takuto closes his eyes and goes to kiss the glass... Kanako turns
               down the window and actually peck kisses him.  

                                                          "You can't do that, I'm married."  

Episode 13 ~  Departure.  After Keito's talk with Benio it sounds like everyone will be going to outer space!

            -Takuto and Wako are having their weekend breakfast at Sugatas again... Their always there. Benio
              shows up to challenge Sugata to a Kendo fight... Het lets Takuto fight her instead.
            - Takuto looses fast, One move... Benio still wants to try Sugata but he declines and she leaves.
            - Back at the Dorms, Benio shows up in the guys bath while Takuto is bathing again. TalkTalk.
            - Benio shows up in Takuto's bedroom, Kissu. With a start he awakens, Her Scarlett Kiss powers
               are gone. They talk and he doesn't take advantage of the situation.. instead he asks her if there was
               anyone she really did like... Yes. Sugata.
            - Benio, George and Tetsuya. The three members of the 5th Division of the Glittering Crux Brigade
              Filament are members of clans that have "lost their marks" due to the thinning of their blood.
            - Benio/Scarlet Kiss volunteers to be one of the first Cybodys to be restored, In the cybercasket she
              appriovoises and then the flashbacks start.
                    She and Sugata have known each other since childhood, He was the first grade schooler to
              defeat her in kendo. Benio crushes on {falls in love with} Sugata but her father{?} says he is
              betrothed to a maiden and since their clan has lost their mark... She is not worthy to be with him.
                     Remembering this greatens her will to return to being a StarDriver, Flying thru pinkness she sees
               her "mark", reaches out for it and.. becomes a StarDriver again.
                     The first Cybody Peshent fixed. Too bad it doesn't last long...

Zero Time;  Takuto Vs Peshent Take Two. This battle really is fast, Seems it's just to let Sugata and people know that the Crux can now fix their broken Cybodies.  Scarlet Kiss is piloting the Cybody this time so... From earlier on in the episode her "special attack" doesn't work a second time just like Sugata had predicted.
Fast Fight, Peshent is rubble again... Next Please.

              - Back at school, The Kendo club...  Takuto "Sugatas Apprentice" and Benio are sparring again,
                This time with the rest of the club watching. She trys the same move on him and he defends/wins
                 against it again...

Star Driver 8 ~ 10

Episode 8~    40 Seconds of Man Panting....  That's how the episode ended.

What was learned in this episode...

- Glittering Crux is a bit worried about Sugata waking up, Not sure if he will try to use his first phase powers
         to affect battle outcomes.

- FishGirl/Sakana finishes her story, strips her clothes and collar then leaves her birdcage.
        Head lets her leave.
        She boards a bus later in the episode with Wako, Keito and a pink haired mystery girl.
               She is headed to the ferry to leave the island...

- Sugata is back in school but acting very unusual {He's very cold to Wako and distant.}, The kiss from          
         Scarlet Kiss seems to be affecting him.

- Takuto goes to confront Sugata who is looking over the ocean, After he shoo's away Jaguar and Tiger the
           two of them have a "chat".  Seems neither of them believe the other care too much about themselves,
           Takuto with his swimming to the island and Sugata with most things in general.

Zero Time;  It happens just as Sugata and Takuto are about to fight, Scarlet Kiss initializes it and attempts to "use" Sugata by taking him into her own Star Driver Peshent. The plan backfires and Sugata overpowers her and takes control of her Star Driver...  Fighting Takuto almost playfully the two trade insults until the end where Takuto defeats Peshent.
             Back in real time, Cue heavy panting...... then the end credits run.

Tidbits;  The dagger/knife that Sugata carries with him, that Wako is afraid to ask about is to protect her.
               Jaguar and Tiger are supposed to kill Sugata if he ever leaves the Island.


Episode 9 ~ We got two new characters and a Sugata/Takuto bath scene.


Mizuno is the pink haired girl that was on the bus with the other three girls in the last episode. She can talk to  
       animals and is known as a "witch" throughout the school. Very free spirited she road ontop of the bus to
       school, by jumping out her house window and met Takuto when going into the boys bathroom to try and
       save  Crowberts {a crow} baby.  Seeing what she was upset about Takuto jumps into the tree and saves
        the falling baby bird... This in turns practically makes Mizuno fall in love with him.
      - Later on in the episode she is chasing the vice president around and comes across the Night Flight
       Drama club meeting, She ends up joining them probably because Takuto is in the club as well.

Marino is Mizuno's older twin{?}sister, She's a sports superstar in the school.She's also Manticore a member
         of the Glittering Crux, In the Vanishing Age division she is introduced as the acting Lead while Head is
         on vacation.
       - Manticores Star Driver is apparently broken, a big hunk of junk called Ayingott. They are however
        repairing it slowly so when it is usable she can use it's scanning eyes to find the West Maiden. Of
        course there's more to this... Manticore is only in the Crux to protect her sister.. who is the West
         Maiden.

Zero Time;  The fight was a bit stupid, Just one of the Vanishing Age drivers trying to prove that it won't take third phase to defeat Tauburn. That was full of fail... Sugata attempts to use his Kings Pillar at the beginning of the battle but Wako stops him.

Words; Starting to think Takuto may have a harem soon...

Episode 10 ~    Takuto does have a harem..... It's lets play baseball episode!

- The baseball game was just that...a baseball game.  Takuto's class vrs Marino's class, In the end
         Marino's class won after Mr. Fox Eyes Crux member uses his first phase on a baseball pitched to
          Takuto.
- After the game Mr. Fox Eyes approaches Marino and does the Crux greeting, She answers back.
           He was obviously jealous of how she and Takuto were talking to each other during the game.
- Still feel "something" between Sugata and Keito.

- Mizuno and Marino's flashback, Their mother left them to go chase after their "father" who left the island.
            Their aunt lives on the island and they live alone in their house.


Zero Time;  Sword Star, Star Sword, Whatever his Driver name is... Mr Fox Eyes initializes Zero Time to fight Takuto.  Seems like he's doing it just for the hell of it... probably because he's got a jealousy problem. The battle really doesn't last that long but, He does get Takuto down to one knee before...  Katami, Wakachita, Yagadanse.  Takuto uses the "it'll be okay" spell {Much to Manticores surprise} that Marino taught him earlier after the game... Then he wins and all goes back...


Tidbits; Cute bath scene at the end.... Marino likes Takuto now too because she and Mizuno like the same things.  hehe

Otome Yōkai Zakuro

Spirit Affairs will be terminated.

Back at "base", The whole crew is having it's victory munchies and then Kushimatsu comes in to gather them for some bad news.

The Military only agreed to the arrangement because of Omodaka/Lt Hanadate's scheme, With him gone the Military is no longer interested...   This of course upsets everyone.  The girls will continue with helping humans and spirits coexist but... The guys have to go back to their normal military duties.

The goodbyes were sad...and touching at the same time.

Susukihotaru is packing Rikens things... she ends up crying but...a cute moment.

Ganryuu: I promise to come for you.
Bonbori: For me, For Bonbori?
Ganryuu: For both of you.







Zakuro and Agemaki finally kiss but it fades away from that...








At the end credits the men are gone and the girls/kids are walking thru the village, The humans are acting much warmer to the half spirits...

Look who's not dead, Omodaka and Byakuroku survived the fire... DaiDai is nowhere to be seen though.

Then look who didn't leave, Spirit Affairs was reinstated after they appealed to the general.

This series didn't disappoint, Only thing that could have been better is it could have been longer. I'm a real sucker for anything with Youkai in it.....

Weakest Episodes;  None really... The final episodes did seem a bit rushed to me though.

Favorite Episodes; Episode 5 ~  Bonbori and Hoozuki defend Ganryuu from the Black Widow.
                                Episode 6 ~ Bonbori and Hoozuki's past is shown.

Favorite Character;  Susukihotaru ~ Not sure why... she just barely inches out the twins.
Least Favorite Character;  Agemaki ~ Find him a bit annoying yet funny.
                                         DaiDai ~ She just irritated me.

Yumekui Merry 1 & 2

Episode 1 ~  This may be freaky season, This and Madoka are pretty far up on the Huh? Scale.

We have...

Yumeji Fujiwara;  Pretty much a ordinary student... other then the fact he dreams of talking cats attacking him and can see auras of people's dreams. His own aura is black... which means nightmares... damn cats.
      Leaving school he has a strange girl fall on top of him, apparently the black birds were attacking her. In the chaos of the bird attack/falling she looses her hat and she runs off after it.
     After parting ways, Yumeji finds said hat that is being carried off by a black kitten... experiencing deja vu of sorts he's pulled back into the "dream world" and there be the  floating bone fishies, talking cats and their "Boss".

Merry Nightmare;  The girl who fell on top of Yumeji... In her quest to find her missing hat she stumbles across Yumeji in the "dream world".  How did she get there? Who knows.  It seems she's actually from the dream world and just accidentally went into the human world.... She first saves Yumeji from the bad guy before nearly begging him to help her back into her home world.

The Bad Dude;  John Doe.   That's right, his name is John Doe.  What sort of name is that? He's looking for a way out of the Dream World and wants to use Yumeji's body for a vessel into the real world. He and his cat army are defeated by Merry before wandering back into the Dream World... Giving her no help or even a clue of how to return herself.







Episode 2 ~  Kinda glad this one got better with the second episode...

What we have;  After Merry fainted at the end of episode one, She wakes up at Isana's house. When Isana enters the room with a little chit-chat Merry is a bit grumpy...and hungry. Merry is a very grumpy lil demon... After food, a little more chit chat and discovering doughnuts {that she loves} she sneaks out in the middle of the night while people are sleeping.   {Isana's dad "catches" her and tells her she can come back anytime}

Dream Demons;  Living in the dream world some dream demons wish to enter the real world, they normally enter one of two ways.. by taking over a "host" or coexisting with them.  In Merry's case she came into the real world as herself... no vessel was needed. How she did this? She's not sure. She has very few memories..

Back at school...

Creepy Girl

Chizuru Kawanami; The mandatory transfer student, She's creepy... She doesn't talk much and seems to just stare off a lot.   Odds are she's some sort of strange demon or possessed or something....

Mr. Ijima; He's their teacher, He loves rice...lots and lots of rice.  He's also a little on the suspicious side but I doubt it's anything.







Yumi & Serio; Serio is a dream demon, he came to Yumi in her dreams and convinced her to allow him to posses her but... live together with her.  He's a little voice in her head that apparently has helped her fulfil her dream to become a nurse...
      These two are where things get interesting... While walking home from school Yumi comes across some medical scissors and as she reaches for them she is warped into the dream world.  The dream is not her own {or Serios} and it gets a little freaky.
      Bear traps and chains attack the two of them, Each of them helpless to save the other. Serio walking towards Yumi to try to help her, the chain tightens and a voice is heard.... Multiple large "traps" open from the ground and crush {trap?} Serio.....   Back in the real world Yumi drops her school bag and walks away distant and empty....

At the end, Merry is set on not needing help but Yumeji is set to help her any way he can.

Tidbits; Merry loves doughnuts and doesn't seem to like carbonated bevs.

Words;  The first episode wasn't that interesting, This second one was really slow to start... The twisted dream world that "killed" Serio has me wondering about things though.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica 1 & 2

Episode 1 ~  A new magical girl show!  The feel is much darker then I thought it'd be... sort of like a Hell Girl type alternate reality during pieces.

Madoka Kaname;  The pink haired main character, She lives with her mother, father and baby brother. Her mother works and it seems her father is a stay at home dad.

Sayaka Miki; Blue haired, Best friend of the main character {Madoka}. Might like girls.... not quite sure yet.

Homura Akemi; New girl at school, She was first "seen" in Madoka's dream... Madoka was trying to help{?} her.  When she enters the classroom it's a bit of a surprise for Madoka.  She tells the other girls in the class that she transferred in from a Christian School and wasn't a member of any clubs.
      She's quite talented both academically and athletically, She's also a bit creepy... At the end of the episode she is attacking Kyubey for unknown reasons.

Mami; A blonde girl that shows up near the end, She "saves" Miki, Madoka and Kyubey from the freaky flower things.  She transforms using some egg looking item, the outfit not being all that unusual looking but her attack is dozens of muskets shooting the freaky things.

Hitome, Madoka, Sayaka

Kyubey;  A little, white, cute creature.  For some reason Homura is trying to kill him, He asks Miki and Madoka to create pacts with him so they can become magical girls.

Things are still a bit confusing.... I do have a good feeling about this show but only time will tell..







Episode 2 ~ More depth...

In the way of flashback, Mami bring Madoka and Sayaka back to her place after she saves them from freaky land. Over some sweets she explains the situation to them....  When a girl makes a contract with Kyubey they obtain a Soul Gem, It's proof that they are a magical girl and is the source of their magical powers.  Kyubey will fulfill one wish each, In return they will become magical girls and hunt "Witches".
        Magical girls are made from Wishes, Witches are made from curses.  Witches spread despair and normal humans cannot see them. Unexplained murders, suicides and other terrible things are caused by witches curses...  The freaky place from the first episode is where a witch has confined itself.

A Witch

The episode is pretty much the girls deciding if they want to become magical girls or not... what they would wish for and Mami shows them what a witch hunt is like.  The witch hunt itself is pretty strange, the soul gems can "sense" witches nearby and that's how the girls track them.

As for Homura, Mami says she was probably trying to keep the girls from gaining their powers because the more magical girls there are... the more competition there is for the hunt. Sometimes magical girls clash over who gets the witches...  Seems the girls powers deplete as they fight and the witches once destroyed drop an item called a Grief seed that repowers their soul gems.

I kinda felt bad for Hitomi this episode.. Madoka and Sayaka are sharing this experience and she's left out. She can't see Kyubey and Madoka, Sayaka and Mami have a telepathic link via Kyubey...

Tidbits; Mami is a ninth grader and lives alone in a very nice apartment. Homura told the girls she was just after Kyubey so he wouldn't get to Madoka, Didn't say why though...

Words; I think Mami and Kyubey may be hiding something, Something that Homura knows and isn't saying.

IS: Infinite Stratos 1 & 2

Episode 1 ~  It's the meet and greet episode.... We have the main {only?} male, a harem of women, his older sister and the IS.

IS Academy; The worlds only educational institute thats soul purpose is to train IS Pilots.

Infinite Stratos; Developed 10 years ago it was originally intended to operate in space but that development was halted. Due to the Alaska Treaty it cannot be used for military purposes so currently...  it's used for sports type competition.  Only females can pilot/control the suits until....

Chifuyu Orimura;  Ichika's older sister and ex first generation Japanese IS Pilot, She suddenly retired and disappeared. She's now Ichika's teacher.... and quite scary.

Ichika Orimura; The first and only male who can pilot an IS, He's at his first day at the IS Academy and is of course the only male student in his class/school.  His sister who he seldom sees is his homeroom teacher, a childhood female friend a classmate and roommate, he's surrounded by girls who seem quite curious about him and he is totally lost in class. {He didn't read his ref book, he threw it away.}
      On his second day, He's challenged to a dual.

Houki Shinonono;  Ichika's childhood friend whom he hasn't seen in six years. She's a national champion in Kendo and seems very nervous around Ichika.  Her reaction to Ichika being her roommate was rather comical {she attacked him with a kendo stick} I'll take a safe guess that she'll end up being the romantic interest.

Cecillia Alcott;  She's British and she's full of herself.  When Ichika is the only one nominated for Class Rep she throws a fit... starts to insult Ichika and Japan in general.  When Ichika insults British food she takes it as an insult to her country and challenges him to a duel.
      Of course Ichika puts his foot in his mouth while he accepts the duel but...yea.. Next Episode Fight!

Favorite Line;  "People say if men and women were to have a war, It wouldn't even last three days."

Words;  Seems to be nothing really special; Harem, Mecha... The normal stuff really.

Episode 2 ~  There was a wait on the battle, Turns out Ichika didn't have an IS yet and they were waiting for his own "personal" one to be delivered.  This wasn't necessarily a bad thing... it gave Houki time to train him {spend time with him},  When the senior butt into their conversation at lunch to offer him training I thought Houki was going to beat her up.  

        After a week of Kendo training the set date for the duel has arrived... waiting and waiting Ichika's IS finally arrives at the Arena.  It's name is Byakushiki... he takes to it pretty fast and flys off to fight Cecillia, Her IS Blue Tears is a long range unit and the fight was pretty one sided for most the match.  Of course the one sidedness sort of stops after his IS enters it's first shift mode {It had been configuring to him the whole time} First shift came a little too late though, His dinky sword turns into a weapon like his sister use to use Yukihira 2 and as he activates it.... it saps up all the energy from his shield power and he looses just before he can strike Cecillia.
       Conclusion?   Cecillia gets to be the Class Rep. Houki gets to train Ichika more in both IS and Kendo and it looks like Cecillia might like Ichika too.

IS Tidbits;  There are only 467 Infinite Stratos Units in the world, Only one person knows how to make their core and this one person is Tabane Shinonono.   Yep,  Houki's older sister.... Noone knows where she is and she will not make more then the set amount.
        Only high-class companies and country reps get their own personal IS, Ichika more then likely gets a special one before he's the only male pilot.

Words; I am still a little on the fence about this series, It's just "okay" so far and nothing is all that special about it.  From the preview for the third episode there's another girl from Ichika's past that's going to show up...

Rio -Rainbow Gate- 1 & 2

What this show is about...

Episode 1 ~   An introduction episode of sorts with a fairly stupid plot.

We meet...

Rio; "The Goddess of Victory".  She's a dealer at the Howard Resort, her very presence is said to bring luck to the gamblers. It's also shown that she is quite able to defend herself in a physical fight.

Mint and Choco

Mint Clark; A little girl who is brought to the resort by her casino addicted grandfather.
     Choco; Mints stuffed teddy bear.

The Owner; He's a little strange. He seems to like putting Rio in embarrassing outfits and flaunting her around.

The Episodes Bad Guy; Orlin Dunhill.  He wants Mints bear... He collects stuffed animals and believes hers to be a special one from Belgium.

The Outcome; Rio plays a game of cards {poker} against Dunhill, If she wins he leaves and if he wins he gets the bear and Rio will strip naked for everyone to see.  After a strange, mushroom induced {not really} animation sequence Rio wins, with the weakest poker hand even...  Turns out that the bear wasn't even made in Belgium and that Dunhill just has a terrible eye.

Costumes!

Episode 2 ~  We get an opening song, a new character and some more background on the world.

Ania Helsing ; A new dealer from Russia that Rio is supposed to mentor, She's pretty good with the cards all ready but she's incredibly clumsy.  She makes an utter mess of the casino, knocking over machines, glasses, wheels..

Gates;  These are 13 rare cards that the International Casino Dealers Guild distributed around the world to dealers known as Gate Holders. Gate Holders challenge each other by putting up their own Gate cards, Known as Gate Battles.  The person who gets all 13 cards will be known as the strongest dealer in the guild. Rio has one of these cards; given to her by a man she played a game for a while back.

The Episode Bad Guy; Elvis, He is adored by numbers and women {he has a harem}.  He's also a Gate Holder and he's come to the Howard Resort to challenge Rio to a Gate Battle.

Yey! Guy Candy Too!

The Battle;  Set up by the Owner of the Howard Resort it's a giant roulette wheel, Ania being elected the dealer by the Boss Man.  Elvis allows Rio to choose if she wants to be the thrower or the better, She chooses  better.
      Elvis using his knowledge of numbers does a few test throws of the balls, calling out each number before it comes to rest with 100% accuracy. When it comes down to the real thing however.... after a strangely placed volley ball match... He fails.  Not noticing the band aid that he received from Ania {after he hurt himself helping clean up her broken glasses} stuck to the ball as he threw it.
     Red One.
  
      Rio wins the Gate Battle, She receives Elvis' card and he leaves in shame without his harem of women.

Words;  This Anime is strange.... It's major fanservice and this second episode was very messy and random. However... I may keep watching it.  It's relaxing and nice to look at, the animation is actually quite pretty...

Winter Anime 2011

Here I go again..... The great first episode adventures of a new season!  

Well, There's nothing too great about it really, This season is looking rather sad so far...

I've not actually watched any of the new titles yet but, They are floating around the net all ready. Still catching up with the rest of the Fall series...

The only show I know I'll be watching is Star Driver, Which I guess is still technically a Fall2010 series.

Oh well... Somehow I deleted my Zakuro episodes eight and nine post... so it jumps from seven to ten thru thirteen now.  Boo.

Otome Yōkai Zakuro 10 ~ 13

Well, I marathoned episodes 10 thru 13.

I pretty much figured from the get go that Hanadate was going to end up being one of the bad guys, I didn't however think he'd end up being Zakuro's half brother.

The Village of Oracles.

This is where the women spirited away are taken, Where half spirits are born. The Oracle have great powers and can "tame" fox spirits.... Kushimatsu once lived there and served Zakuro's mothers.

Zakuro

Captured and brought to the Village of Oracles, Hanadate's true identity is found out to be Omodaka.... her half brother.  He's been looking for her so that she can bear his child... he's strangely in love with her or maybe it's just her powers. 

    At first locked in a bedroom and tethered to the bed, Zakuro eventually escapes the room when Lady Rangui comes in {spider form} and attacks her in a jealous rage. While running lost thru the hallways of the large house her pendant  starts to glow and she is lead to where her mothers body is. Past Flashbacks happen.

Zakuro's Mother.

Tsukuhane; She was the most powerful maiden within the Village of Oracles. The village chief wanted that power and took Tsukuhane as his wife. Once a male child was born from the union Tsukuhane was taken from the village and sent to live in the mountains.  There the chief would visit for sex to try to produce another child... it never happened and he would not allow Tsukuhane to see her first born Omodaka.

Sometimes she'd leave her lonely house, to go stare over the house where her son lived. One day while she was out.... sitting in a tree{?} a man cut it down.... The man was Enaga. They met, she'd start to sneak away from her confinement and meet him.. growing closer and closer... She finally gave herself to him and had gotten pregnant.

      Just when things were getting "serious" between the two her husband and his men found out and Enaga was killed right in front of her eyes... Turns out it was Omodaka who saw her and Enaga kissing one day while he was out in the forest and told his father.  After some harsh words from Omodaka, She was in shock.... she was taken to the village and they preformed the ritual which would turn her baby into a half-spirit. 

    When the baby was born with extraordinary powers, Before the chief could get to Tsukuhane and the baby... they with the help of Kushimatsu had escaped... The baby was Zakuro.

Running away wasn't that easy, With Zakuro's powers growing stronger{Even with the pendant sealing it} by the day Tsukuhane finally gave herself over to her now grown son Omodaka. In return he would leave Zakuro and Kushimatsu alone...  Not knowing how long that would last Kushimatsu and the young Zakuro moved quite frequently.

     During the wandering Kushimatsu would take in other half spirit children, this was at Tsukuhane's request. Then she finally met Lord Armaryoju and they all moved in with him, He suggested that instead of trying to hide the powers she should teach the girls to take pride in them....

The Crew

Agemaki, Riken, Ganryuu, Bonbori, Hoozuki and Susukihotaru go to Lords A and Um to ask them to open up a way to the Village of Oracles. Separated on the teleport there, Agemaki lands alone in the village and comes across the "dead" form of Tsukuhane.  The rest of the group appeared in a forest area just outside of the village....

     Zakuro's being prepared to bear her bro... Omodaka's child with a spirit ceremony type deal. Just as Omodaka attempts to kiss her Twins to the rescue!  The shock of Hanadate being Omodaka doesn't take long to get over for the five... Battle Ensues.

     Susukihotaru can sense the feelings of the fox spirits that are being forced to fight them, Wanting death over the enslavement their forced into they quickly figure out that they shouldn't attack the fox spirits but instead the Priests that are controlling them.  The Priest/Oracles are just big push over and run like babies when their control is broken. 

    Omodaka took Zakuro and ran, with the help of Byakuroku {Did I mention she's been helping him since Spider Lady went loco?}....  To the Accursed place.  The place where Tsukuhane and Enaga made Zakuro... and now Omodaka wants to "plant his seed" in Zakuro there... that plan was total fail with Agemaki finally showing up.

    A little chit chat and Byakuroku attacks Agemaki, Omodaka/Hanadate is watching on and brooding about how everyone loves Zakuro and not him.  The rest of the Crew shows up just as Agemaki is about to get squished by Byakuroku... a little fight from Omodaka then more talking.

Omodaka.

Fueled by jealousy and contempt...  Feeling "that woman" cared more for Zakuro then himself.  She came back to the village to protect her after all.  Even when she returned she refused to bear more half spirits, refused to eat and then... she died.  Then even in death she refused to decay, her body the constant reminder to him...always the same...sitting there.

         Earlier Agemaki "talked" to Tsukuhane,  Omodaka was wrong in his thoughts... she not only returned to the village to save Zakuro but also... she regrets letting go of Omodaka

       The day Omodaka saw Tsukuhane with Enaga he had gone off looking for her because he missed her... he wanted his mother... he wanted to be held by his mother...and he found her with him.

      Yep, Omodaka has cracked.... he attempts to kill Zakuro with Byakuroku holding off the rest of them but just as he's about to choke the dazed out Zakuro... Boom!  

       Someone forgot about the Spider Lady. His house is on fire!

Lady Rangui recruited the ignored Daidai to aid in her vengence, Daidai is evacuating the enslaved half spirits as the village of oracles burns.  Always feeling neglected and in her sisters shadow, This is supposed to be Daidai's time to shine but.... that doesn't last long.

        Omodaka takes Zakuro and rushes back towards his burning home, A little lost the crew counts on Byakuroku to lead them....  Once to the town... every one's spider bait.  Omodaka's priest dudes are webbed and to Byakuroku's shock Rangui has munched down on her naive sister.

        With everyone at the Village, Rangui is still declaring her love for Omodaka... of course she wants to eat him now but hey...  As she attacks him Agemaki shows up to defend him... "I'm sure this is what Zakuro would do" he says and that doesn't sit well with Rangui. 

       Turning her rage to Zakuro's still unconscious body, Agemaki runs to her just in time to also get bound up in the spiders webbing. The rest of the crew goes into attack mode but the Spider Lady makes quick work of all of them...

         "Zakuro, I love you..."

         " Stupid"

        She wakes up, breaks the webs to free the two of them, breaks the pendant/seal her mother gave her and.... kills the spider.   Everything is burning, Daidai is dead... Omodaka runs to the room in which his mothers body is kept.  Everyone follows after him...  He sees his mothers body as a decaying corpse now. Turns out that's all everyone else saw, a decaying corpse... only he and Zakuro had seen the body of the mother they knew. 

         Omodaka feels delusional but Agemaki points out that it just may have been the way Tsukuhane wanted Zakuro and Omodaka to see her... to watch over them in death as she had in life.  As the building starts to collapse Agemaki and Zakuro try to get Omodaka to leave but he wants to stay there with the body, Still obviously jealous about how much time Zakuro had with her.  Byakuroku with her sisters body also stays behind with Omodaka.....   and everyone else is outside on a hill watching it burn.

Cold Again.

There was a bit of a break in the extreme cold weather, Was sort of wishing it was going to last till spring but... no luck there.  I'm sort of getting use to it but really... I prefer Spring/Summer.

The worse part about the Winter is.... The hot water is always breaking.  I have no idea what is up with these apartments but every winter the hot water breaks at least three times a month.  I'm not sure if it's just them over doing the boiler for all the units to get hot water or if it's just bad luck... Whatever it is I wish they would get it fixed.

Last year wasn't as bad when the hot water broke, I could go to my gym and take a hot shower but now that my old gym closed and I had to switch to a new one... no hot shower.  The new gym has no showers... or locker room at that.. Love the whole 24 Hour thing but maybe I should have joined the YMCA, They at least have hot showers.

Oh well, Even with the water issue I like it here... as long as I have cold water I can make hot water with the stove or microwave. At least it's not that special time of the month.....

Onto my early weekly report....

Saturday~  It was Christmas... sorta.  Really it was New Years but since a snowstorm hit the relatives places back on the real Christmas we had to wait till they thawed out and rescheduled.  The day wasn't all that bad... was only minorly stressful with the relatives. Seems they don't really bother asking me questions anymore since I never gave much in the way of answers anyways.

Sunday~  Chill day, Just went to Borders and Panera for food. Nothing special...

Monday~  Went to the Gym!  Ha! See... First Monday of the year and I actually didn't flake out. Only gained two pounds too which was amazing since it was also "that time of the month" which normally gives me about five pounds...
      Food?  Arby's, What's up with their price increases... I swear every time I go there my sandwich costs more.

Tuesday~ I don't remember what I did.... The only thing I do remember is.. It was relatively warm and I finally got to go outside for a walk.  Down the hilly road and back up, then to see the sheep which really seemed happy to see me.... until they realized I had no food.  Need to get a bushel of carrots and go over there again...

Wednesday~ Felt like shit... woke up feeling terrible and nothing about the day made it better. Had two waffles for breakfast and we made burritos for supper.   Well, I guess the Burritos made some things better..

Thursday~  Sushi!  From a new place for lunch.  Within walking distance of my home even which is amazing.. I even tried the Gyoza finally...  Yummy Lil Dumplings.  Far better then the Steamed Dumplings at the nearest Chinese spot.  The Sushi wasn't quite up to par with Oishii but it will do in a fix and it's cheaper to boot..
      After lunch we went out and the dad bought himself a computer mouse with his WalMart gift card, Why is this not worthy?  He never uses those gift cards the relatives give him on himself.. he tends to buy food or something with them... So him buying something for himself is amazing.

Friday~  Here I am, I went to the gym this morning and came back to a semi warm shower. Even with the cold weather, no "hot" water and the minor worry that my phone may die any minute... I am in a pretty good mood.  If only this mood would last thru the winter, then I'd be all set...
       Food?  Pizza.  Stomach is a bit upset but I will survive.

Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai

                                                        
This series really surprised me, I went into it thinking it was going to turn out to be some sick incest show and ended up with something entirely different. Sure... You can tell Kirino has a bit of a liking for her brother but it wasn't on the level of Yosuga no Sora, Which was just absolute ick....

The main drawback to the series was, Kirino is not all that likable... I can't say she's spoiled or anything because she really does seem to work hard for what she has {Even though it seems to come so naturally.}.  She models, has great grades, writes novels is athletic... she's practically the whole package.  Though she's also living two lives.....

One the student/athlete/model and another the young girl obsessed with Eroge and little sisters..  Even the novel she wrote has "little sisters" in it.  Always trying to hide her secret her brother saved her numerous times.. With how her best friend {Ayase} reacted and even her fathers blow up... The idea of Kanako or others finding out could get scary... or funny.

The show was quite enjoyable...  Wish they had actually shown Saori's full face without the Cosplayish outfit on... Also wish they had a little more Manami and her family...

Weakest Episode{s}-  Episode 7 - First part was fine, The second half with Kirino researching her novel was part creepy, part boring. Looked like she was on a date with her brother. :(  
            Episode 8 -  Kirino's novel is turned into an Anime.... It just felt out of place somehow.

Favorite Episode{s}-  Episode 6 - When Kyou goes over to Manami's house for Halloween.
             Episode 10 - Ayase needs a present for Kirino's birthday and Kanako cosplays Meruru.

Favorite Character-   Kuroneko - She's cute, she's quiet, she has cat ears.
Least Favorite Character-  Kirino - She's just irritating...

Episode 6 ~   Pointage Episode.

- Gouto didn't come home for his Wedding Anniversary, He didn't forget about it though....  Seems he and his wife are trying to have children.

- A man {Date} just moves into an apartment with crazy low rent and finds out that it's haunted.
- Haruka somehow is contacted with the problem and goes to Yakumo for help.
- Ghost is a woman {Kimiko} who by description from her friends is basically "plain", She doesn't wear make-up or go out of her way to look overly attractive.
- Turns out Kimiko hid and envelope behind the mirror in the apartment, She wants it burned without being opened.
- Haruka and Yakumo go to his Uncles house, Nao's there and she's apparently trying to get some attention which Yakumo fails to notice.
- When preparing to burn the Envelope Haruka just has to take a look inside, It's a photo of Kimiko in a dress with make-up on.  She's quite beautiful.
- Kimi~Ghost doesn't seem to mind them looking at the photo and tells Haruka to "Do her best as well.".
- Yakumo's uncle teases him a little about Haruka.
- Nao's so cute.....  She was trying to show off her new cardigan to Yakumo. He finally acknowledges it and says it looks good on her.

Ore no Imouto~ 10 - 12

Episode 10 ~    Thank you, This episode was better then the last three...

Ayase goes to Kyousuke to figure out an appropriate gift for Kirino's birthday.  Going to Kirino herself really backfired and she apparently thinks he's been hitting on her friends.... "What are you, my girlfriend?"  That got himself a big slap and Kirino red in embarrassment....

On to Kuroneko and Saori to find this perfect gift, Just as it looks to be utter fail here as well they notice a poster in a window.  A one of a kind Meruru figure!  Only problem is, You have to win a cosplay event to get said figure... Bringing this idea to Ayase he even has the "perfect" character for the model to dress as.  Dark Witch Thanatos Eros EX Mode!     Yep, That got him a kick to the face this time and an enraged Ayase...

Ayase has a plan,  Enter Kanako.  The mutual friend of Kirino and Ayase.  Ayase and Kyou trick her into thinking it's some sort of audition and make her dress up and cosplay as Meruru... She looks just like her. The performance itself {singing} was great and earns her a 100% on the rating scale.

During the event there was just one little hitch, Kirino was there cheering and Kyou had to "hide" her from Kanako's sight.... Kirino didn't even realize that it was Kanako doing the Meruru skit. In the end they got the figure... then left Kanako there at the event...without her normal clothes...  heh...


Episode 11 ~    Yey!! Manami is back!   At least for about half the episode.

Kyou's mom nearly catches him playing a little sister game, thinking he was actually looking at porn she basically shrugs it off.  He's sent to the store for grocery's where he bumps into Manami...  Seems his mom wouldn't be home to make lunch the next day and Manami is good in the kitchen.

The next day, Kirino is not happy to see Manami in her house.  She's rude and a bit bitchy to the girl who is polite and extremely nice to her... Kirino even has Manami clean the living room.  Manami makes the place sparkle and even makes lunch before Kirino comes back down from moping in her room...

Kirino is happy.... nice even. Gives her thanks for the food and says it's good...  Kyou and Manami go up to his room where there's a surprise awaiting Kyou.  His sisters computer is on his desk with one of the little sister games open on the screen and... his porn magazines are left out.  In complete freak mode Kyou trys to escape out of the game before Manami can see the screen but... instead while he's worried about the computer she finds the porn magazines strewn across his bed...

All the girls have glasses, Kyou has a glasses fetish it seems!  Then it doesn't help that the escape button didn't work on the game and there was some strange... half naked girl with glasses on being used for a screen saver of sorts.

After the Manami's Visit disaster Kyou goes to what he thinks is Kirino's party, Being hosted by Saori... From the start it was a little strange..  The banner across the top of the door said "Kyousuke's Harem Party" and inside the girls are all dressed up as maids {There's those outfits!}.  Kuroneko is the cutest...  Seems they are all there to cheer Kyousuke up .

Each of them has something prepared, Not sure what Saori's thing was but Kuroneko made a Manga that was based on Kirino and Kyou... After the scene of the "Kirino" based character smelling her brothers underwear was shown that pretty much stopped dead.

Kyou finally explodes, Telling Kirino it's her fault that he's been depressed.  The entire porn/computer thing with Manami has really been hard on him even though Manami herself has been really nice about the situation.  Kirino then apologizes.... and thanks him for everything he's done for her.  She admits that without his help she would have never met Kuroneko/Saori, been able to handle things with their dad and Ayase..  She gives him a present....   A little sister game.

Episode 12 ~  "I'll be calling him something different soon enough."  

Kirino was being nice, To Kyousuke...  yes she had to have wanted something.  She did.  A Midnight release of a Eroge...  This was supposed to be her last "Life Counseling" but that didn't turn out to be true either.

Anyways,  While waiting in line for the game release Kyousuke bumps into his friend {Akagi} who he was actually pretending to stay the night with.  Seems Akagi is a sucker for his little sister just like Kousuke but she's a Fujoshi... she likes...loves gay, man on man games/things.

When Kyousuke finally gets back home with the game his attempts to get to bed are thwarted when Kirino wants him to stay up with her and play the game, After a bit of time he trys for bed again and once again she stops him... saying she wants him to see something that is embarrassing.  It's an Album of some sort,  She changes her mind.. there's a bit of a scuffle and a plane ticket falls out of the Album..

 Kirino is supposed to be going to America for track training, The plane leaves the next morning.. or that morning with how late it was.  There's a lot of emotional back and forth...

Kirino-  "I'm going whether you tell me to or not"  
Kyou-   "Yea, Go."

That goes on for a little while then... Kirino beats him up.  Knocks him out even.  He wakes up a few hours later {daylight} and finds that she apparently took him to his room and cleaned up the wounds she gave him. He goes downstairs.... his parents are thinking he's just back from his friends house and he's surprised to see Kirino is still there.

Kirino changed her mind, She didn't go to America... she'd miss her friends too much and she couldn't buy Eroge over there.

That's the end, For now.....

Ore no Imouto~ 7 - 9

Episode 7~  
   "It takes place in a post apocalyptic Tokyo and the main character goes around saving girls and rebuilding the world with them."   Well, That's not what the episode is about but it's what Kirino's new novel is about. She does do a lot of stuff.....

    The episode itself almost seemed like the start of two episodes in one full episode, Kyousuke came home to find Kuroneko sitting in his living room. She and Kirino had gotten into a "fight" after each of them read the others novels...  characters in both novels based on each other had some questionable events happen to them.
    Saori was also supposed to come over so they could all watch Meruru but, Something came up and she couldn't.  Kyou cleans up the "mess" and all three of them sit down and watch Meruru.... Some amusing comments are swapped and that's the end of that.
    Turns out Kyou's been looking at porn on his sister computer, She catches him on it and then gains... more Life Counseling.  It's rather disturbing really, The two of them basically go out on a date.... Kirino claiming to be doing research for her novel while the two of them go around town and eventually end up at a Hotel after she pours a bucket of water on herself.
     I keep forgetting this is sort of a brother/sister anime.

Episode 8 ~
      Kirino's novel has been published and it's a hit!  So much so that they are planning to turn it into an Anime.  My City.

     Kuroneko and Saori accompany Kirino to the meeting with the Anime staff, Introducing them as her "assistants".  The meeting starts off fine, Kirino has a huge envelope of notes and suggestions for the show but it ends in tragedy.. the staff rips most her ideas to shreds and try to turn the lead character into a male.
     Kirino is Crushed.
     The next day Kyou meets with Saori and Kuroneko to discuss what's going on, Saori has found out that the show is just a rushed "filler" to replace another Anime that was suddenly canceled. The three of them go to the next staff meeting without Kirino and things get a bit more interesting...
    The staff still wants the main to be a male.... so much so that they even suggest making the anime as a plot happening "near by" with an ex soldier saving the girls.... This gets Kyou quite upset and defends his sister book.
    Kuroneko even speaks up after Mr Asshole with the Glasses starts trashing the book,  She even admits she's jealous of how easy things are for Kirino and that Mr Glasses is probably envious as well. Kuroneko says she was ecstatic at the last meeting where Kirino was knocked down a few notches.. Kyou even admits {yet not out loud} that he's jealous of Kirino and pretty much hates her...
    But she is his sister... and he gets down on his knees to ask the staff to reconsider how they will do the Anime. Kuroneko even asks for them to reconsider {without the bowing}.
    In the end, Kirino gets most the things she wants. Of course she thinks it's all because of how she delivered it at the first meeting....

Episode 9 ~ 
     A day in the life of the characters, That pretty much sums up this episode.


Kuroneko's day is the cutest, She's home alone with her little sister who appears to have a cold of some sort. In "normal" clothes thru most of the day she takes care of her little sister, making her food, letting her sleep in her lap and even making a big stuffed pink thing for her.
     Closer to the end she is back in her goth clothes seemingly practicing for her cosplay and talked to the denizens of the world of darkness {Kirino and Saori} on her computer....
   Saori's day.... is a bit boring. Didn't expect her to be rich with maids and butlers... I did figure she'd be quite pretty behind those glasses and strange clothing.  Her "normal" clothes are high class.. skirt and blouse deal... You don't quite get to see her entire face but there is enough to tell she's pretty.
       She had three maid uniforms specially ordered... guess those will be explained more in a later episode.
   Ayase, Is working...modeling... she trys to call Kirino but the phone is off/dead.  She thinks that Kirino turned it off so she could study in peace... WRONG.  She would really freak out if she knew what Kirino was really doing.
   Kyousuke, I feel bad for him.  Alone at home with his sister he's trying to study in his room while Kirino is playing Eroge in the next room. If I had a sister and she made those types of noises in the next room... I'd probably have to go in there and break the game.
   Kirino got a new game, With her parents gone she certainly didn't hold back on the noise while playing... She REALLY likes those games a little too much.  Scary Much. She even had to go take a shower/bath part way thru.... before a "hentai" scene... she dropped her panties in the floor when she bumped into her brother. He pointed them out...she freaked out and slapped him.

          I feel bad for Kyousuke.

Restart.

It never fails with blogs, I get distracted with a game or something and then just don't feel like posting anymore. Not that this isn't enjoyable in ways it helps get the stress out and keeps me from forgetting certain events.

Anyways... The past month.  How did it go?  Christmas shopping and Cold Weather abound, One small ice storm, A small snowstorm and a belated "family" Christmas.  I got really far behind on most my Anime and started to mess around on Maple Story again.

Maple Story was probably the reason I stopped posting here and got behind on my shows. Now that my interest has once again wavered on the Maple front I won't have much problem keeping up here.

I need to finish a few Anime, Planning to do that throughout the week and post some wrap ups. Will post "wrap ups" of other movies I watched thru 2010 and of course the Christmas experience in general.

I need to do a lot of things in 2011, Most of it won't be all that fun and some of it currently seems impossible. I will do it though... somehow I will and must do it....

New Years...

Was supposed to start this back up today....

Guess this sort of counts as "restarting"....

Too tired too post much so tomorrow shall be the actual restart.
