Halloween

Why am I in on Halloween night?  Because I am boring.

Well actually, I'm not the party type... I'm not the get dressed up like a hooker and go out and drink till I can't stand up type. I'm certainly not the hang around a lot of people type, I prefer to just be at home doing what I always do.   Not much.
    Obviously, I don't get bored easy. Little things entertain me which most people would find stupid. The fact we only got one trick-or-treater is a bit sad and it's even more sad that the one was the only one we've had in like... five years.  We always get candy, we are prepared but... they never come.
      My neighborhood must be too scary or something... I've never found it scary.  Friends and I use to go around by ourselves and trick-or-treat when I was younger, Back then you'd get quite a bit and we never ran into any questionable or even bad candy.
      Now the candy I do get is left over candy, Which means we always get something we like so we'll eat it. Reese Cups and Kit-Kats for me!!

Other then nothing, I did catch the Flea Market at the Fair Grounds earlier today. 8 Dollars to park now is such a pain but it's only like once a month so no biggy....  Was looking for this booth that sold coin purses and other little bags made from photos the sellers had taken. They were really nice coin purses, Only three dollars which was a nice price but... that was back in August when I saw them. They weren't at the September market and they weren't at this one either. 
     Sucks.

Friday?   Did get to the gym, Be amazed. Then ruined that with going to Old Chicago for pizza, Hadn't been there for over a year and I remember why... The pizza isn't that good.  BJs in the mall is far superior, more flavor, better crust and the tomatoes on top are delectable.

Saturday?   Bad day.  Blueberry pancakes at Wild Eggs didn't even get my mood to taper off, I just wanted to huddle in a corner and cry most the day.  I hate the down days, Still not fully up but trying hard not to let it overtake me like it normally does.

Pants Found, Mission Over.

Went to the Spaghetti Factory today, For once we didn't get lost getting down there and we found a parking spot nearly right in front of the door. Most the time we go the wrong way and have to park a few blocks away.  I'll have to say, It's one of the few places that I will order Spaghetti... Why order something out that you can make at home better and cheaper?
     It's probably because I've been going there for so long.  Ever since I took field trips to the Kentucky Center in elementary school... It's probably the first Italian place I ever ate at and at the time it was the ONLY place I'd eat the "ice cream" {spumoni}. Only the green part though, Didn't like the pink or brown.. that green is like heaven.  Still, I don't really care for ice cream but the spumoni there is great.. now I will eat all three colors but really prefer the green still.
     Salad, Bread, Main dish and desert all for under 10 dollars, Plus I get enough left overs to eat for supper. That's like 5 dollars a meal and I only eat two meals a day normally.....

Anyways, Enough about the food.  Went to Target/WalMart/Meijer to see if I could find some pants {Yes, I am persistent} and I find that it's not only the mall sizes that are all screwy....  Everyones Mediums are now like what larges use to be.  Very strange, Very strange indeed....
     Found two pairs of pants though finally, No More Shopping For Me!  I should really pick up some more shirts and pajamas but.... I'm just not in the mood.

Tomorrow?  More gym.

The Results...

I Finally Got a Hair Cut... Been meaning to for a couple weeks. It's due in part to my pants buying failure. I should really do something different with it but... I'm just not that eager to try something new and have curly hair from hell.

Sundays mall excursion was an utter failure, I didn't find any suitable pants or a winter hat... Maybe I'm just too indecisive. I always think, What if I find something I like more in the next store then comes the next store and that's the same...  *sighs*  Such Fail.
    I did however pick up the Vampire Knight Fanbook at Borders, Gotta love their 33% off coupons. The book is quite nice, details on all the characters and a load of other odds and ends within.

With the failure at the Oxmoor and St Mathews Malls it was decided to try the Jefferson Mall on Tuesday, Tuesday... The day a giant storm just decided to come floating in. I woke up to windy, tornadoy weather.. The rain was extremely needed, We haven't had any significant rain since August so this huge downpour made the lawn very happy.  

Anyways, The storm settled down around noon-thirty so we could start off to the far away mall... Over 20 miles is fairly far for me to go {certainly for shopping}.  My mind was set on finding at least something to make this trip worth the trouble... and I did.  I found a hat.... yes... a hat.. that's it.
     JC Pennys seriously needs to check their sizes or I was in the wrong area... I swear their sizes run large or something because I was swimming in pants that I normally can wear.  Could it have been me changing body sizes? Nope, I've gained five pounds. Gaining means the swimming should not have occurred. They didn't have any sizes that fit so... No pants for me. 
   The other places just didn't have anything I liked... I am just too picky. I'm happy though, I'll find more pants eventually and now I have a hat that will fit my big head. Finding winter hats is almost impossible for people with giant heads..hehe. 

   The Red Lobster over in that area is also quite nice.. Red Lobster has really turned into a lunch only place seeing their seafood has gone up in price so much. I'm also not that big on fried fish of any sorts so I mainly go there for the Shrimp Skewers.  Their biscuits are the best part of the meal of course...

    I've... also managed to go to the gym Monday and Wednesday so far, Which is right on schedule. I haven't been slacking there even with the near mile walk there and back.

Ore no Imouto ~ 3 & 4

Kirino's "normal" friend Ayase seems to be figuring out something is up, Of course she thinks this something is a boyfriend but at least she noticed....

During her trip to Akihabara with KuroNeko and Saori Kirino finds out that the other twos parents actually know about their Anime habits, Neither of them have any real trouble with this fact. Sadly, Kirino's father isn't so... flexible.  When she gets home she accidentally drops her new game when she bumps into her father....

After what seems to be a one sided talk, Kirino runs from the house upset and on partial behest of his mother Kyousuke runs after her. Turns out their father was quite angry and called her hobby useless... he's pretty much planning to throw all of her collection away. {At least what he can find.}  Kyousuke does the nice, brotherly thing and goes to talk {threaten} their father. Pointing out how well she preforms in school and work, saying he should allow for Kirino to keep her hobby because even she knows it's weird.

Their father finally caves but only after Kyousuke lies and says the Mature game that Kirino dropped was actually his, He then punches Kyousuke in the face and... He is now the "Worthless Son" .. haha.

That just sounds...so wrong.

Quick run down of the fourth episode... Why did he stay in that position so long?  This was a big facepalm moments...

Kirino has her school friends over to the house and wants her brother to stay out of sight, A package for him arrives and the box apparently is a ritzy make-up company. Thinking it's make-up Kirino takes the box from him and runs upstairs.... Meanwhile, Kyousuke gets a call from Saori saying that the box has Meruru Doujinshi's in it.  Chaos insues... Kyou and Kirino fight for the box, fall and...

*cry*

Don't stay there so long....uhg....

Later on in the episode Kirino, Saori, Kyou and KuroNeko go to a con, Lots of con stuff happens and KuroNeko wins the last Limited Edition DVD and gives it to Kirino....

While they are walking home... They run into Ayase... there's the cliff hanger.  {I think she has a little crush on Kyousuke}

Always forget about Manami... She's Kyousuke's classmate that obviously likes him. I just wonder if he's playing dumb of if he really can't tell she likes him.

                                                               Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin

 Episode 1~   "To stop a lamie, You have to cut off the head.... of the one it first possessed."   Maya Kumashiro comes back to the Occult Academy for her fathers{the principals} funeral.  A tape her father recorded before his death was played during his funeral contained a spell that went presumably wrong, Resulting in a lamie possessing his dead body and him running rampant on campus. Maya with minor help from an old friend Ami, the janitor Smile, some strange guy JK and glasses girl Kozue track him/it down and extinguish him/it.

    The Vice Principal seems hinky somehow and a strange, naked guy floats down from the sky in a ray of light while Maya is standing on the roof at the end.

Episode 2~ "In 2011... The earth is ruled by Aliens."  Yep, Naked man is actually Agent 6 a time traveling agent from the future sent back to find the Nostradamus Key and stop the alien invasion. He'll be posing as a History Teacher during his mission. He supposedly graduated top in his class and has psychokinesis... really weak psychokinesis it seems. Perhaps 6 is actually his power ranking or something, he can't even bend a spoon anymore.

     Maya finds her fathers diary in his house while she's being attacked by a spectre of some sort {Agent 6 was no help during this either.} Probably something the Vice Principal sent after her because ya.. she's still hinky.  By the end of the episode Maya decides to help the Naked Agent find the Key with the hopes of finding who also killed her father.

{Dropped}Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls ~  I watched Episode 1 so far but haven't really found the desire to even watch two.  :(

{Dropped}Yosuga no Sora -   I'm not really sure what to do with this series, It's apparently only going to be 13 episodes long.  With how the first episode ended I figured it'd be an instant drop but... I watched the second episode. 
     It's nice that Sora only want him to make her go to school and needed him to take her measurements. It's obvious that she really has an unusual liking for her older twin but it hasn't got too kinky yet.. By the end of the third episode Haru is kissing Kazuha.
    It was a little disappointing that they didn't hold out on what the deal was with Akira and then when it came to light she was Kazuha's fathers illegitimate child it wasn't a surprise at all. Akira is my favorite character in the show so far... she makes every scene better with her amusing antics.

I Don't Wanna Shop.

Think I over did the last post, it just went on forever. I'm gonna have to rewatch the eleventh episode before watching the twelfth though... Anyways... That will have to wait for today...

I go shopping.

Meh, I may be the only girl in the world who hates clothes shopping.  Need new pants though, My old ones are either worn out, too baggy or the legs have shrunk. I swear the bottom of the pants come up above my ankles now, WTF is with that?  That's what I get for getting cheapo pants.
    I could also use some new shirts and pajamas but, that will have to wait.

There are so many things I "need" to do recently but, nothing I really want to do. Forcing myself to do certain tasks is damn near impossible. Like, I need to straighten up my room... I need to force myself to learn to drive... I need to find some sort of job... I need to start looking into more schooling.. The list goes on and on and on... Uhg.   I need a psychiatrist, Can't keep medicating myself on Anime and Manga.

 I can proudly say I've obeyed my no manga buy {other then Finder 1} since September 26th when I bought the early releases of Demon Sacred 1 and 2.  That's nearly a month, Which is very good for me... haha.  Today I may break down and get the Vampire Knight Fanbook if I see it at the mall... It's technically not a Manga... If I asked for it as a Christmas gift people would just look at me funny then I'd end up with some random volume of Vampire Knight that I all ready own.

   Today's Quest; Find some clothes for winter and don't buy manga/anime related stuff.

   Tomorrow; I must start up at the gym again, I've been going but slacking off while there.

Shiki 8 - 11

So, I did it again....

Four episodes of Shiki in a row, This series is extremely addictive and... Tohru's back!! 

Let's just give this a quick run thru with some hit points...

~Natsuno, Akira and Kaori find that Megumi's grave is empty. Right after the reveal a man grabs Kaori and drags her back into the woods... Natsuno follows, knocks him out with a shovel and finds out *gasp* He's not breathing! Oh yea, Even more undead happy vampness there. Leaving the body in a partially covered Megumis grave they leave to come back the next day. Body gone, Grave back to the way it should be.

~ All of Sunako and Seishin's meetings are interesting, I'm quite positive that Sunako is A LOT older then she looks, Possibly even older then the other vampire/shiki in the European house. The new story Seishin is writing involves a brother which is "forsaken by god" who kills his brother who is loved by everyone, His brother then rises from the dead and is a "Shiki". Seishin asks Sunako if she is Abel and Sunako looks as though she's going to bite him until he says he believes that she is a shiki. 

~ Dr. Ozaki... I'm not sure what to say. He finally figured out that there could be "Risen" in the town causing the so called epidemic. Keeping Setsuko at the clinic to keep her "safe" from the Risen he soon has a run in with the undead Nao who has been feasting on her mother-in-law. Nao however can't get into the building since she was not invited but the following day, Apparently Ozaki's wife {yea,wife..that was a shock} invites Tatsumi in and he takes it to his full advantage that night.

    A whole little army of vampires, Megumi included shows up outside of the clinic that night. The lights having been shut off Seishin goes to turn them back on while Ozaki stays with Setsuko, Tatsumi being the only one able to come in whacks the doctor and takes off with Setsuko for all the "Risen" to feast on outside.

~ Natsuno's parents also show up a bit more, I'm not impressed with his father. He's just.... I can't say stupid but very stubborn and stuck in his ways. Natsuno decks out his room in charms and crosses and his father takes them down then scolds Natsuno for putting them up.. When it's his and Natsuno's mothers fault that they needed to be put up in the first place! Oh... yea.. This creepy Shizuka girl came to their door while Natsuno was out. Talking thru a doll with ventriloquism she says she's Natsunos friend and wants into the house to wait for him, Yuuki {Nat's father} wasn't gonna let her in but she throws a fit and Natsuno's mother comes to the door and... in she goes.  She mentions her "brother" coming over later also... She's gone when Natsuno gets home but he knows....

~Tohru's back!! Yey,Yey,Yey! Shiki Tohru is even more adorable then alive Tohru!!  He's the "brother" that comes to Natsuno's house...  He's been sent there by Tatsumi to kill him because he knows about the Shiki. Even as a shiki Tohru is so kind hearted, he can't just attack Natsuno and runs away crying after he's found tapping on Natsuno's window... Megumi shows up having wanted to take the job of killing Natsuno but Tatsumi wouldn't let her for one reason or another. Natsuno running around looking for Tohru ends up being found by Tatsumi and Megumi {oh what a bother}, Some chit-chat and both of them try to attack Natsuno but before they get him.. Tohru grabs and bites him.  Yey!

Woot! Nom-Nom.

         Yes, Now like... Five people know the vampire/shiki/risen are real. Looks like Natsuno may be one of them pretty soon. Megumi isn't as bad as she was but... she needs to step aside and allow for the bromance to continue. I still like Tatsumi.... he's...amusing.

Shiki ~ 6 & 7.

I'm all about Shiki right now.....

For the past year I really haven't watched a lot of Anime, Just random ones that I got from Netflix. I'm playing "catch up" with Shiki..

Episode 6~ 
   Back in Episode 5, Natsuno got the postcard that Megumi could never send to him.... He ripped it up and tossed the pieces by the window in which she always peeked. Stalker in life, Stalker in death. She picked the pieces up and that gave away that yes... She's back from the dead/alive.
      I should have given a little more depth to the first five episodes, Certainly five itself... Tohru's funeral nearly brought tears to my eyes.... Back to episode six.
     The doctor has finally cracked, With the arrival of yet another patient with the same symptoms and "bug bites" as many of the other victims he just finally snapped.  Yelling at the patients wife, then the darling little monk Seishin.

      Sunako, Another I never touched on... She's the young girl that moved into the European house with her parents. Having a disease where she can only go out at night she seems to be making friends with Seishin.. If she were a bit older they'd make a cute little couple.  Seishin writes books, Sunako has read them all and he autographed one for her.

    I think the doctor has finally figured it out! Vampires! Risen! Whatever you want to call it are causing the deaths...  He gave one of the sick women a blood transfusion and she "got better" for a little while. Though after a couple days she died... Blood is good.
     Also looks like Megumi's friend Kaori and Akira are close to figuring it out...  Brain Toll - Natsuno, Dr. Ozaki, Aoi and Akira!

Episode 7~ Masao, Masao, Oh I ignored you this entire time but my dislike for you was real. I was glad to see you attacked at the end of episode five... and episode six you just lay in your room the entire time dieing. Now at least I know Tohru's brother and sister came to talk to you but you were just too weak to go open your bedroom door, For the Librarian was making you his nom-nom.
    Sadly, You're back from the dead... I hope Tohru comes back as well. You though, Why couldn't you have stayed dead?  They didn't even show your funeral or people finding your dead body, I wonder if your family even cared when they did.

    Tatsumi, Mister blue haired crazy eyed guy.  I like you so far, You're apparently a daywalker of sorts if you're even a vampire. You dug Masao up, You really should have just left him in the ground.
    Now, Let's dig up Megumi with garden spades!!  Kaori and Akira are lucky that Natsuno owns a lot of shovels.

Bad Days and Pumpkins.

It's been one of those days..... I woke up with the biggest headache known to humankind accompanied by ear and jaw pain. I just didn't wanna get out of bed but I decided to punish myself and do so.

I hate when there are people around when I first wake up, even when I am feeling good they are just irritating.. so much so that an entire day can be ruined by seeing humans the first hour after I rise.  Ever since my dad retired human contact is impossible to avoid in the morning, What's worse is it's talkative, relatively cheery contact....

No, I don't want to talk or hear about what you've seen on TV this morning. No, I don't want to answer any questions about anything in the morning. No, I don't want you to give me any sort of bad news in the morning. I swear if he doesn't get a job soon I'm gonna go homicidal.  *sighs* Yes, It's been one of those days..  At least everyone got the fuck out around eleven so I could at least eat breakfast in peace.

After food and around four pain pills I finally decided to get to what I was planning to do for the day.. Washed the comforters and blankets.. straightened all the junk that we've accumulated in the kitchen and... PUMPKIN!

My one enjoyable activity for the day, Carving my pumpkin and cooking the seeds.  I only get pumpkin seeds once a year...

Shiki ~ 1 - 5

If the death continues this series will be a zombie show soon.

At the fifth episode the death count is around 20, That's quite a few for such a "relaxed" show.

This is Megumi... She was very irritating but I didn't expect her to die so quickly. She hated living in such a bumpkin town and wanted to move to the city as soon as possible, She also had a huge crush on...

Natsuno Yuuki...  Recently moved to Sotoba with his parents, Of course he hates the move and is pretty much a huge asshat for most of the five episodes. He doesn't seem to be able to stand Megumi or anyone in general...Well.. Other then...

Tohru!! 

 He and Natsuno was making my boys love senses tingle.. He's friendly, quirky and just all around adorable. That is until he dies.... Yes.. My favorite character dies in the first five episodes and what makes it worse is this....

Wackjob is responsible, Here I thought she was annoying while she was alive.. Dead is a thousand times worse. She also has mad jealousy of the guy love Natsuno and Tohru were displaying.. Let the guys have their time!

Now, Seriously... The whole thing started when the new "family" moved into the European style house up in the hills.  Megumi apparently met the woman of the house the night she "disappeared" and had her blood sucked.. Of course the Doctor had no idea what happened to her and just treated it as Anemia.

Soon after Megumis death more and more people started to die...

Star Driver ~ 3

This episode got off to a bonzer start... Kanako is a little strange.  She's married to a rich, 65 year old man who lives in Paris and barely speaks Japanese.  Yep, An old perv.

Even better, She knows he's an old Perv!! At least she's a smart one.. She's also part of the Crux but the main characters don't seem to realize this yet..

She has a nice outfit at least... Oh yea, There was more fighting in this episode but at least the first part was amusing...  On her giant ship Tanako here has a pet Alligator.  Yes, A giant freaking gator that tries to eat little Vice Presidents.

Why is a fox the Vice Prez? Who cares! He's cute! He made this episode great.. for the first half.  Then came the fighting, This time instead of the Pink Womans men it was miss greenys here.. You know how that went though.....

After a little struggle using only one sword our hero wised up and pulled the sapphire one out as well.. Two is always better then one!  Then Takashi bad guy goes squish and all is right in the world again!

Still not sure what to make of this, The second episode was still pretty confusing. I'm starting to think this is a parody of other Mecha series....

What I've learned so far;  The Robot things are Cybodies, Cybodies can only move in the weird space {Zero Time}, When a Cybody is activated time stops for the rest of the world. The bad guys want to make it where the Cybodies can be used outside of the Zero Time as in the "normal" world they are just giant statues.

The Bad Guys; The Glittery{ing}? Crux Brigade.

Yea... The bad guys look a little doofy.

Of course there's another Mecha battle.. This time that strange green haired guy whom I forgot his name. Of course the Pretty Boy wins then all goes back to normal.   I'm still wondering what's up with the maiden of the North, Why is she fine with being in a cage and being used for a pet...and what's up with the singing?

Where's the Honey?

    Today for some reason I wanted KFC for supper... Being more of a Popeyes person I can't even remember the last time I was at KFC.  It wasn't really a bad choice... A drum and thigh meal extra crispy with two biscuits and cole slaw.

    I'm really not into their chicken, the only side I like is the cole slaw... but I love the biscuits.  They are warm, golden, fluffy softness from heaven.... certainly with sweet, gooey honey drizzled all over them.  Honey.... KFC what have you done?  I asked for packets of honey and they gave me..  Honey Sauce.

    Honey....Sauce.  The Ingredients?  High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Sugar and FINALLY Honey with a few other things behind that.  The packet also said in small print "7% Honey" which means 93% other crap.

   The important part should be the taste of course, If it tasted the same as normal honey then I technically have no room to complain but... it didn't.  Could it be that I didn't like it because I knew it was 93% stuff? That I knew I wasn't enjoying 100% Bee Puke?  Maybe.   Will I ever ask for honey there again? No.

   It's a good thing I don't have KFC cravings often.

   I should add one plus to this whole situation though, They started serving their sides in cute, little reusable containers. Although the portions of the single sides seem to have shrunk a little, It's not really a big deal since my appetite isn't all that big and leftovers were still had. Also got to take home my cute lil dish for later use, Maybe I'll put some real honey in it for my left over biscuits.

 Sora no Otoshimono Forte ~  I gave this series two more tries, Episodes 2 and 3.  I'll admit that it's amusing in some sick...demented.. perverted way but, After the Pantie Wrestler bit I just can't bring myself to waste anymore time with this series.

      In some twisted way the dancing nudey magazines in episode two were hilarious, Haven't laughed like that at an Anime in ages. The third episode was seriously a continuous face palm.

       Favorite Characters; Nymph and Mikako.

MM! ~   It's too stupid, I didn't even get thru the second episode. It wasn't funny at all for me... stupid just doesn't count as funny. No,No,No.  Nothing at all to like about this one.     

Bakuman ~  It's not that Bakuman is a bad anime it's just.. I find it mildly boring. The second episode was depressing while the third was actually kind of touching.   Miho's mother was entertaining, Kind of saw it coming that she was the woman Mashiro's uncle had been writing for all those years. 
   Akito is still my favorite character.

Yumeiro Pâtissière SP Professional ~  After watching the second and third episodes... I realized that this series just isn't for me at this time. Not saying I won't come back to it someday and watch the first season and then this one... Just... It's not what I want at the moment.  Though I do love all the fairies.....

  


Yosuga no Sora ~  Nov 14th ~ I tried, I really did.... It started to look like it had some potential but that went downhill after the sex started.
