I tried... I really did... But I could never get into the Bakuman manga. This was not really that surprising since I could never quite get into the Death Note manga either. What is a little curious is just how boring this episode was to me... I was expecting to like the Anime as I did with Death Note. Perhaps I was expecting a little too much.
A guy who wants to be a manga artist, a top student that wants to be a writer of manga, a strange, voice actress to be girl who accepts a marriage proposal on the grounds that their dreams must be met first. Oh.. and they can have no further physical contact until said dreams are realized.
I'll give the second episode a shot purely based on Akito's strange L aura....
The Main Mashiro - Can't say I like him much.
Akito manga writer to be... Only reason to continue.
Crazy Girl ~ Don't care for her much yet either..
This makes me want to rewatch Death Note.
