Cincinnati Zoo.

Let me first say... This Zoo is huge.

I felt pretty good Thursday morning, Waking up at 8 AM was a lot easier then I had thought it'd be.  Noshing on a Kiwi before getting things together and heading out the door at 9... The drive up to the Zoo lasted about 2 hours. Getting lost only once as soon as we entered Ohio... missed the exit and ended up who knows where before turning around and going back.

Not eating before we got to the Zoo was the one huge mistake, Zoo food is at least double{triple?} the price of normal food and not that good.  Having a minor cold came in handy, a bottle of water and two chicken strips lasted me the entire day.

They have cats.. lots of cats... I couldn't believe how many they had. Sand Cats, Tigers, Lynxs, Leopards, Cheetahs the list goes on. Too bad I couldn't get piccys of all the different cats.. Some were indoors behind glass and some were just at angles that were too hidden for a good photo.

My favorites were the Fennec Fox which was in the nocturnal area, couldn't for the life of me get a photo of that lil guy but dammmnnn... I wanted to bring him/her home.   The Red Pandas were next on my list.. almost a reason in themselves to go to the Zoo.  I find them to be much cuter then the Giant Pandas even though most I've talked to find them to be too raccoon like...

We were there for four hours and I still think we missed a few things...I'd say this Zoo is definitely a two dayer.

Got home exhausted around six, The cold subsided enough for my animals day but today... I feel like crap. It was worth it though....
