Otome Yōkai Zakuro 1 & 2

The Ministry of Spirit Affairs.

Meiji Era Japan, Youkai are real and living amongst humans. To aid in the relations of the two they are pairing human soldiers with half youkais... The two also take "jobs" thru the Ministry to take care of Youkai that cause trouble for the humans.

As soon as I saw the title of this show I knew I'd love it, I'm pretty much a sucker for all things Youkai involved.  The fact when I finally got around to watching it that two episodes were out was a huge plus... I just wish the third was out as well....

Ganryuu, Kei & Riken

The three main males are likable enough.... Ganryuu is quite young and very boastful, Kei is a bit of a chicken shit when it comes to "spirits" though he is trying and Riken is the calm... quiet...scary one. Each of them are paired with a "spirit" or spirits...

 Susukihotaru , Zakuro, Hoozuki & Bonbori

The four female mains....  Susukihotaru the quiet, feminine one, Zakuro the lead female, rather hot tempered one who does not eat candles and twins Hoozuki and Bonbori who are rather cutesy and like to play with their partner.

Rei/Zakuro,  Susukihotaru /Riken and Ganryuu/Twins are the "teams". The girls really look to be the more formidable opponents when it comes to taking care of "rogue" spirits so to speak... At first Hotaru was rather scared of Riken being he's a bit off putting, The twins warmed right up to the young Ganryuu and Zakuro... that's gonna be a rough ride with Rei, He's scared of Spirits..  heh.
